I bought Liquid Omega-3 Fish Oil today, cus I hate swallowing oversized capsules. I bought the one that said 'natural orange flavour' and thought hmm...orange. Well worth the extra money for the better taste to mask the fishy taste. WELL! Let me tell you! The taste is full-on fish with hint of orange flavour. -_-
I used to take it as well. My friend had found it in these little packets kind of like fast food ketchup packets. And it came out kind of like a paste/gel. It was orange flavored as well. I don't eat fish or seafood, so i couldn't tolerate a strong fish flavor, but this didn't have much of it. The orange flavor was pretty strong. It's been years now, so i don't remember the brand, but might want to look around for something like that. It was pretty easy to take.

It's really amazing the changes that can happen if you're open about yourself, and willing to listen. I really like it when I notice positive changes in my life, makes the effort put in worth it. :)

Okay haven't written here in a while so I'll write a couple of things on my mind

Right now I have a raspberry stuck in my tooth and for the last four hours I've been trying to get it out with my tongue, I brushed that tooth like twenty minutes ago but I feel like it didn't do anything.

Still unemployed! But I really feel God has been teaching me a lesson/ preparing to not to be tempted to turn my 'stones into bread' if I'm stuck in an uncomfortable situation with coworkers.

I have been drinking water continuously, I can't get this thirst out of my mouth.

I need to get baptized
Halp!

I bet ya this one's better though. Smart ladies borrow, but genius steals
Hahahahahaha where is that in the 10 Commandments? The footnotes? :p
Stealing from one is plagiarism stealing from many is research.

Also, I think we should all try to get the 20,000th post, or maybe I could talk one of the Admins into closing the thread at 19,999. Nah don't want to bother them. What's really going to happen though is when we get to 19,900 or so grace and donkey fish are just going to post random stuff for 100 posts to make sure one of them gets it.

Apparently my best friend thinks I'm a prude. I don't see how setting boundaries and having self respect= prudish but to each his own I guess.

The honey lemon variety taste horrible too. Avoid the peppermint at all cost.

The only good thing about a bad short term memory is that you can surprise yourself with a delightful extra bucks you find in your pocket.

I ran out of French vanilla creamer for my coffee, so I'm using milk and sugar. It reminds me of when I was a kid and would steal my mom's coffee when she wasn't looking. She never even used half and half, unless we were having company. I remember asking her why, once...she said she preferred her coffee with milk. But then, one time my aunt took us out to breakfast, and my mom ordered her coffee with half and half, and she took a sip and said how much she missed that taste...

She was always so good about not letting us know we were poor when we were little.

The morning of my 8th birthday, she woke us up really early and acted like we were doing this huge, fun thing...she had us pick out toys and clothes we didn't use anymore, while she set up a couple of tables in our driveway. We had a hastily-thrown-together yard sale all morning, and it was so much excitement seeing people pick out my toys for their little girls that I forgot it was my birthday until that evening.

I played with my sister and brother outside all afternoon, and then we got called inside for dinner.

My grandparents were there, and my dad (they'd been divorced almost a year by then).

And there was a birthday cake. Not even homemade, but a fancy one from the store with ladybugs and flowers just like I had asked for.

My aunt was the one who told me, years later, that Mom had called her early that morning, upset because she had paid bills and couldn't get me anything for my birthday. My aunt offered my mom money, but she said no, she would figure it out.

And she did.

I dunno why I'm wandering down memory lane this morning. Oh, right- coffee. Time for a refill.

My late wife loved French Vanilla Coffee Mate. You stirred up a good memory for me.

No wonder you seem so tough. And I mean that in a good way.

I couldn't wake up this morning, I don't know why . I had this weird dream that I was driving to go visit my cousin in Ohio and I kept driving all over the place, my kids were freaking out. I pulled over and found that I had driven over a guardrail. It was such an odd dream.

I have a friend here that I've known for a couple years now, and since he's been a cat-owner for awhile, I've looked to him for advice and have really appreciated a lot of the help he's given me. But he continues to insist over and over again that I regularly give the cats baths because I should "get them used to it" so it won't be so hard to do it if I ever really need to down the road. The thing is, not only do I have a hard time believing that they would ever get used to being bathed, but it seems totally unnecessary since cats are really clean animals and clean themselves often enough as it is. So I think this is one bit of advice I will take with a grain of salt on. I don't want to needlessly torture my cats or go through the pain of having to bathe them when it's unnecessary.

I've had 10 different cats in the last 15 years (4 stayed with my parents, 3 disappeared mysteriously, and 3 live with my ex :/), and I can count on one hand the number of times I've had to bathe a cat.

Twice, for fleas, and once for a kitten that just smelled like poo all the time.

So I agree, don't torture your kitties unless you really have to. Like for fleas, seriously stinky fur, or if they get into something that would make them sick to clean off of themselves.

Yeah, hopefully after the Dawn dish soap bath I gave them last night and the flea shampoo bath we're going to give them tomorrow, and the flea medicine, aaaand all the vacuuming I've done, that the flea problem will be taken care of once and for all. They will only ever be indoor cats, so they shouldn't have any place to get them from if the problem is sufficiently taken care of.

If this friend is female prude means you aren't as slutty as me and it makes me feel bad about some of the choices I've made. If this friend is male then prude means you won't do sexual things with me. Take it as a compliment, it means people know you have standards (and if you act like you've been complimented when people call you a prude then it messes with their heads and they don't know what to say next).
