I saw the trailer to Fifty Shades of Grey. I've never read the book but I sort of know what it's about. There is an appeal to the fella in the movie. Made him all dark, mysterious, 'demanding' (I mean not in that way- but you know or yeah or whatever). There was a line where he said, 'i don't do romance' and they were seated at what it looked like a family meal. And it saddened me. I don't really know why. Men like that are dangerous. Manipulative.

I never read Fifty Shades of Grey either, I kept hearing about it, then someone called it mommy porn and I had no interest. Like Magic Mike, no thanks, not my thing.
 
I saw a flea on Titan today. Decided to give him a bath in my sink (which he didn't even TRY to scratch me. I'm good.) but didn't have any shampoo so I just rinsed him with warm water, and found a few in his neck and shoulder area and decided to dry him off and go get a flea comb for him. Got Titan a flea comb and found a nice scratching post that didn't cost an arm and a leg. I found soooo many fleas on my lil guy. And he GOT flea medicine on him the first time he went to the vet. So I went out again, and decided if he's still having problems, he is getting an actual bath in my sink.

Lil, I hate fleas!! They are nasty little creatures which are practically impossible to get rid of, ESPECIALLY if they get into your furniture--couch, sofa, easychair, etc. They also like to hide in mattresses and boxsprings, as I found out all too well when I had an infestation. Get a mattress cover for both your mattress/boxspring and get pillow covers for your pillows. The mattress/boxspring/pillows zip right inside the cover so fleas cant get in OR out. :) There are several useful home remedies to get rid of fleas online on here. Good luck. :)
 
Goodness dang it, I learned today that desperation is letting God decide what's best for you, and that desperation is Not asking scientists to create a man who fits your physical specifications.

yeah, i had to chuckle at that too. first time someone has called me desperate before. i love that i get to experience so many "firsts" here.

Thankfully my kitten lives in the basement, away from bedrooms. But we DO have rugs down here. I better spray the rugs and vacuum.
 
oh, and i almost forgot to say... welcome back donkeyfish. hope you had a nice sabbatical. we've got persNick back, who else do we need to wrangle back into the fold??? ; )

oh, and to the comments from chanderfan and persnick about posting: i'm in the same boat. living and working alone definitely means i have to spread my random babbling between you all, chloe, and the unfortunate souls who bear the greater burden of my ample blathering. : )

Ok Cristen. Have you been training your moths to come after CCers? Ever since you started talking about moths it seems more and more people are having moth issues on here. And now one has finally reached me!
