enjoying my day playing hooky...CC, facebook, coffee, and contemplating breakfast, when I hear an angry knock. A man I had never met before is asking for the rent check and threatening me with eviction. I told him I had paid by cashier's check and gave it to the manager's wife, who co-manages. He was skeptical until he saw my receipt, which got him off my back.

Now I am wondering what she did with the money...

1) I move July 20th. Less than 2 weeks from now. It makes my head spin when I think about it. It hasn't truly hit me, but when it does, I have mini-freak outs.

2) Last night I had a bad dream. A personal fear or mine (not a typical tornado or death kind of fear) was about to happen but I thankfully woke up right before it did. The fear still lingered, though. I made myself stay awake so I wouldn't go right back into the dream, and a Rebecca St. James song, based off a Bible verse, was stuck in my head: "I will quiet you with My love, rejoice over you with My song." It calmed me. Then my cat came and snuggled, so I finally fell back asleep rather peacefully. Good timing.

3) I have a weird relationship with spiders. I find them fascinating, but I don't particularly care for them. I apologize to them when I have to kill them, but if possible I try to get them on a stick and get them to a safe place. I had actually named a spider in the house at one point. He would stay up near the ceiling and would make a cocoon around himself. The next day his cocoon would be empty, but it was because he had relocated to a different part of the ceiling with another cocoon around himself. It was so neat. I named him Hubert.

I'm breaking the rules of the internet and posting twice in a row...the horrors, I might have just ruined somebody's day on the interwebz! 0_o The world is a scary place theze dayz.

Anyway, I sometimes wonder if people think i'm a bit of a creeper since I observe far more than I interact with people so it probably comes off as a bit stalkerish. I promise people, i'm not really a stalker, I just happen to observe lots of things so when I bring something up, don't peg me as a creeper. And, i'm not really talking to online folks, i'm talking more IRL people, the ones that I randomly bring something up and they're like "ummmm, how did you know that?"
I saved youuuuuuuuuuuu!

Last night I had a few girls over to watch a movie. I think I have...complained about these particular girls before and their "movie watching style". Maybe I get too into a movie. But it's really not too much to ask not to talk or be on your phone, is it?

You should have one of PSA that come on at the movie theatres to turn off your phone :)

Oh no. Ahhh. Hope you can get everything figured out and well again soon.

Wow, good thing you kept the receipt. O_O

I can imagine how overwhelming it is when you think about the big picture! (And exciting too!) When you start freaking out, switch to list-mode and just stare at the very next thing on the list of what needs doing. That always helped me. TWO WEEKS! YAY!

Call it the mood I'm in today or whatever, I don't know, but here it is.

Recently I've been thinking a lot about my thoughts, actions, and words towards others. There has been A LOT of drama going around at my work place recently. Some in the department I'm in now, most in the department I had left. To be honest, I'm just sick and tired of people being so disrespectful and spiteful towards others. Recently I just commented seriously on a thread I probably would have left a jabbing/sarcastic comment on no more than a couple days ago.

Yes, some people are dumb...ok, a lot of people, but that isn't a reason for disrespect either, specifically if I don't know the person, and I've just felt convicted about making those types of comments to people I don't know lately. Honestly, I think a lot of it is the bickering going on at work, I'm just tired of listening to these people assault and accuse each other. I guess I'll have to be the bigger man and not join in this time :p

And as a side note having nothing to do with what I just posted. I met a girl I really liked recently, she seemed to like me too, hopefully I can spend more time with her and snag her before she knows what she's getting into :D

Dreams are so stinkin' weird.
They really are. It makes me wonder why my brain would put together some of the terrifying, or...truly strange things that it does.

I know dreams are a mind's way of processing things, or whatever, but why can't it process them while letting me fly and drive a Ferrari and stuff.

Tru dat. Last night I had a dream in which my older and quite distinguished piano professor was in fact a super secret elite ninja.

...I really don't know what to make of that. I always pictured my professor as more of a pirate than a ninja, anyway. He walks like Captain Jack Sparrow.

My fiancé and I met with an immigration lawyer yesterday. It was completely worth the expense as she was extremely helpful. She answered our every question and literally gave us a step-by-step plan to follow. We won't hire her to actually file for the visa or anything since we think we can do that ourselves (and it's SUPER EXPENSIVE), but since we paid for a consultation with this attorney, she said she'll gladly answer any questions that may arise later. We're one step closer to being able to pick the wedding date!

I hung a painting in an unconventional place today. I kind of like it.
I hung a painting on my bedroom ceiling once. After the third straight night of nightmares, I had to remove it. Who would have thought that clown paintings and bedroom ceilings did not go well together?

This calls for a new thread.
