So, after New York, I was at Washington D. C.

OK then - here's the deal. I am so used to walking to every possible place of convenience and because I am with a group of girls who love to dress up every single place... we wore heels. :(

It was almost unbearable to walk in those shoes. I am not sure about the numbers, but I think we walked around 10 miles.

We walked from Washington Monument to Lincoln Memorial twice, the first time we rested at the World War II memorial, placing our feet in the pool.
We visited the US Parliament building and the White House, saw the Smithsonian Musuems, both the NASA one and the National Museum of Natural History.

They were all very beautiful and very wonderful to see. I think I saw most of them barefoot, because my feet were hurting so bad, I just couldn't take it anymore. I wish I didn't wear heels.

I wonder if it's a first of any kind - a couple of girls walking down Washington bare-feet.

Also , I had a hot dog. I am not sure if it was beef or pork, I think it was mystery meat.

So after everything that we had seen and heard, we returned to our apartments by 2 AM. My feet were bleeding and hurting really badly.

Due to walking like that on the sidewalk, there were cracks on the underside and my toes were swollen. These are the times when I am so grateful for my mom for having foresight.

Today morning, when I called her up she was all "I told you so. Wear only shoes blah blah":p, HOWEVER she still packed a foot scrub for me.

So I washed my feet, applied antiseptic and vaseline, put on my socks and for now my feet are mostly healed. Today morning we were supposed to go to North Carolina, to see the beaches but I copped out.

I just can't. I need to prepare and rest for the coming week (where work is a headache and very very hectic) and I honestly don't think I can cope with another trip. I've already seen beaches. I don't really want to.

My friends have been making me feel bad about it and I feel bad too. This is SO unsual to feel bad about not going along with a couple of girls. (I may cry)

My dad and mom have been the sweetest. My dad's been keeping tabs on me. I think I'll go to a church. Wherever I can find one.

This is me signing off -

Thanks for reading.

That moment when a huge part of me wants to be a jerk and lash out at thoughtless people.

Though, I can't even be sure it's thoughtlessness so much as carefully chosen words, words picked out specifically to let me know I'm forgotten.

Why doesn't life have a big, fat ignore button?

Maybe it does and I've just got to figure out how to operate it.

Oh..and Pipp..just to clarify...The whole Bella name thing is because of a conversation I had with my old Bass player the other night. His daughter is named Bella. She is incredibly adorable & I was teasing him about how I hate that he's made me be all accepting of that name again..and that if I ever had a kid & it was a girl,I would consider naming her that in honor of his daughter being so awesome. The Marie part is my Mother's middle name. I can't imagine at the old age of 43 I'll ever have a child, but yanno..this is streams..a place to ramble. If I do ever have kid's we're taking a trip to yer' place to make blanket forts. Just a heads-up. LOL

Making a proper grocery list with proper food on it is weird. I keep thinking of stuff that's good for you and I'm like..."What is this, I don't even...".

On the bright side, laundry has become a desperate situation and I'm forced to wear the only skirt I own, which is actually super comfy and I'd forgotten that I love it. Long swishy skirt, flip flops, chick(en) in boots t-shirt...I'm stylish. Walmart chic. Since I don't have to drive, I think I'll wear my daughter's hot pink sunglasses.

Oh snap, the grocery list...

I had a late night last night. Played wallyball with some friends and then sat around a fire-pit with them for a few hours afterwards. I had a great time, and it's times like that that make me wonder what the heck am I doing, moving away.

Then this morning at church during the worship songs my mom started crying a bit, and then I started crying and it felt like I couldn't stop. I eventually did, but even throughout my dad's sermon and throughout the day today I've had to blink back tears. I am hanging out with my friends again tonight, so here's hoping I have myself together by then.

I forgot how tired I get after crying.

I'm fine, though. I just don't like in-between stages, and the fact that I'm exhausted means I have less control over my emotions.

I'm not losing my mind.

I am assuming you landed a job and this is your stage name?

No sleep has been had by me. My fault, mostly. Then there's these kids who act like I'm their mother or something...totally bizarre.

Im not sure there's enough coffee in all of Colorado to get me through today. Plus, I'm in a "throw flaming rolls of toilet paper out the window at people" mood.

not that I would do that...
Toilet paper is too expensive.

Have you gotten to the point of having a twitching eye? That is a tale-tell sign of lack of sleep.

My eye twitches all the time. And not in the evil way. Well... maybe in the evil way.

That's so awesome. We don't have stuff like that where I live. Yet another reason to move out of California.
