Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Sitting comes first s we learn first to rest in our position in Christ...then we work/fight etc.

I see no sitting in either verse.
I bolded the section above, hope you see it this time.

Non responsive..

This whole post comes from a serious lack of understanding of my belief. And what myself and those like me teach.

We come as babes. We agonized over self and struggled to get rid of self so we could come to Christ as babes, totally helpless and unable to do anything. At this point, God led us INTO THE GATE,

It was there that we learned as babes. Worked and struggled to grow (as a child) and did what was needed to mature in Christ.

legalism says we can not enter the gate until we do work, and then maybe not make it. Or it says when we get in the gate, we sgtep out of that gate and in many times, Hopefully when we come to the end, we are on the inside, and not the out.

If you do not desire to understand what someone thinks. I recommend you do not bother responding to what they say, Your post shows a complete lack of understanding. period.
Then please make yourself clear. By reading your posts, you talk about work. If I am not understanding your position on what God wants us to do about work, would you make it clear to me? To me, legalism is reading and doing the physical part of scripture without the spirit. If you say "don't work" you are reading scripture legalistically.

I really doesn't matter about me, I am a sort of broken down old lady, but many read your posts and look up to you. So many are not understanding your position if I am wrong about it, so it really is important that you make yourself clear.

To me, you give one side of issues without acknowledging anything but your side. There are paradoxes, but to my understanding, you are not able to report that.

Crossnote AGIAN you are in error. God says RAISED up... you never DIED off the old man.... NEVER! Those that are RAISED up is RAISED up AFTER they died off theold.... ONly the ones that DIED off the old man is resurrected in Christ.... Are you RAISED up? NOPE the old man Bookiends is still here sinning. You are NOT in heavenly places yuo are IN THE FLESH still... Only When you die off ALL sin you are dead, and then God will RAISE you up....

Crossie what is the ARMOUR of God... what parts have you put on?
I see not the Truth in you yet, Defenatley not righteousness, I do not know if you know what is the God-spell God talks about... Faith you have some idea that you imagine you have faith... The helmet of salvation you deny yoursel f by not even knowing what God salvation really takes a man too... The Word of Truth you reject on so many places,,, I think you are not well dressed in God's Armour... Sorry my mate, I will not send you to the battle YET.... May God show you all the armour in a hurry. Amen.

Revelation 22:14-15

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Who here has eaten of the tree of life and yet claim to be a sinner? Then honestly ask yourselves which way do we truly go? I believe we can end death! And I may die being laughed at or ignored but I will believe it anyway! All we know is death, because in the end we only see death. So we go in by means of destruction and perish for lack of knowledge.

So I dare to choose life! For without maybe dogs, but a living dog is better than a dead lion!

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

This verse is about those Ephesian Christians having been baptized and seated in the heavenly kingdom in Christ Jesus where they share in the blessings that are only found "in Christ Jesus". It's not about sitting and doing nothing.

Ok, when? Then? Right now? or let's let Paul answer that...

Eph 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

In the ages to come. Now notice that might show is future tense?

At the resurrection.

Eph 1:3,4,5

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ: even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love: having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

There are spiritual blessings now for those that are Christians as being "holy and without blemish" and being a "son" of God.

My point is that we are now sitting in heavenly places through the working of His Spirit who raised Christ from the dead. No one said it's about doing nothing here on earth. I hope you are not limiting Paul's indicative to only the Ephesians.

lets put it this way. Maybe it will be clear.

Paul fought legalism. Thats why he claimed over and over, Grace through faith apart from any work whatsoever.

Legalism is doing work in order to gain entrance to heaven. If your doing the work of the law. The work of the church, Any work whatsoever, and doing it to gain Acceptance by God, or NOT LOSE SALVATION. then you are a legalist.

James is talking to Liscentiousness, or what some call "dead Orthodoxy" which is an agreement with who and what God is. With the fact we are in sin, And even the fact Christ died on the cross. But who have no saving faith (Also known as easy believing) He uses examples that true faith in Christ (which saves) will work. Abraham had faith God would raise his son from the dead. He proves his faith by that work. The harlot had faith The God of Israel would protect her. She proved that faith by hiding the two spys in risk to her own physical life. We show try faith by not just telling a person starving good luck and have a nice day. But by doing something. By Being DOERS of the word. Not just hearers (works) How can one say he has faith in the word of God. when he does nothing the word of God asks him to do?

James is not teaching a salvation by works. that would be legalism. He is preaching AGAINST dead orthodoxy or easy believism.

I am not preaching AGAINST WORKS. I council people all the time who are struggling with sin, And not doing what God wants them to do. I am fighting against Legalsim. Earning Gods acceptance by works.

Seated has to do with placement, not inactivity.

Eph 2:6 "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:"

"Hath raised us up together" has to do with the Ephesians obedience in submitting to water baptism.

Col 2:12,13 Having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him, through faith in the working of God who raised him from the dead ... you, I say, did he make alive together with him

Rom 6:4 We were buried with him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life
