At this time I want to add a caveat to the "Rules of Engagement":

"You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away
And know when to run..."

I am going to ask God to deal me a hand that I can play. Or at least and honest pair of dice. Rules of Engagement are one thing but Terms of Endearment are a different thing altogether.
 
My rules are simple:

1. He buys me bacon.
2. he buys me donuts.
3. He buys me cupcakes.
4. He plays video games with me.
5. We stay in and order pizza and play video games rather than going out.
6. I am always right.

The thing about the Official Cupcake fight thread is that there are no rules of engagement so everyone is free to engage.

Her feelings are more important than my own desires.

I do not believe in long, protracted engagements. Either you know what you want or you don't.

Play for keeps or get out of the game. This game is for serious players only and not the timid.

All is fair in love and war.

I like the rule about not holding back. I agree. I also need to feel free to be myself and not have to worry about how the other person is going to react to everything I say or do.
 
I prefer that either one of them will be so lost in Christ that the partner to be have to find Christ to find one's missing link (rip)
 
I am going to review the Rules of Engagement for possible future use. I do not intend to become another casualty of war. It isn't fair.
