OK brother let talk one subject at the time. It is in the us congress journal. If it not true, why don't Vatican sue US Congress?

Dr. Alberto Rivera, who escaped from the Jesuit Order in 1967, confirms that the induction ceremony and the text of the Jesuit Oath which he took were identical to what we have cited below. – A. On either side stands a monk, one of whom holds a banner of yellow and white, which are the Papal colours, and the other a black banner with a dagger and red cross above a skull and crossbones, with the word INRI, and below them the words IUSTUM NECAR REGES IMPIUS. The meaning of which is: It is just to exterminate or annihilate impious or heretical Kings, Governments, or Rulers.
Upon the floor is a red cross at which the postulant or candidate kneels. The Superior hands him a small black crucifix, which he takes in his left hand and presses to his heart, and the Superior at the same time presents to him a dagger, which he grasps by the blade and holds the point against his heart, the Superior still holding it by the hilt, and thus addresses the postulant:

You can tell the quote is bogus because it not only cites an obscure source, but even says it was ripped out from the source. So basically, they are trying to give credibility to something by claiming it had something to do with the US congress but also that there is no record of it.

You can spot other nonsense by all Jesuits going to some chapel. Jesuits are ordained in various places throughout the world. It is also bogus by the fact it tries to make out ordinations as something secretive, when ordinations are all in public Masses.

I did like the bit about INRI. That was from what was written about Christ - King of the Jews.

P.S. what prompted me to post this is a couple of complaints that our forum contains a lot of heresy, including Catholic heresy, and also I just now removed a thread that was basically promoting praying the Rosary.

I remember one time read online, The journalist went to Congress Library, to make copy from page 3215 and 3216 but the page is missing.

Than he ask librarian for the original complete Journal. The librarian discuss with his supervisor and tell the journalist if he want to make a copy, it will be $ 30 a piece with no refund policy.

After read some article, I convinced that Jesuit has great influence in the US congress, and US government.

Which wasn't always a bad thing believe it or not.

For example, in South and Central America, overseas Catholic missionaries had aroused Rome to condemn the enslavement of Indians with similar appeals filed by them concerning imported black slaves. So on April 22, 1639, Pope Urban VIII (1623 to 1644), at the request of the Jesuits of Paraguay, issued a bull reaffirming the ruling by "our predecessor Paul III" (1) that those who reduced others to slavery were subject to excommunication.

Eventually, the Congregation of the Holy Office (the Roman Inquisition) even took up the matter ruling on March 20, 1686 in the form of questions and answers:

"It is asked whether it is permitted to capture by force and deceit Blacks and other natives who have harmed no one?

Answer: NO.

Whether it is permitted to buy, sell or make contracts in their respect Blacks or other natives who have harmed no one and been made captives by force of deceit?

Answer: NO.

Whether the possessors of Blacks and other natives who have harmed no one and been captured by force or deceit, are not held to set them free?

Answer: YES.

Whether the captors, buyers and possessors of Blacks and other natives who have harmed no one and who have been captured by force or deceit are not held to make compensation to them?

Answer: YES."

Nothing ambiguous here. The problem wasn't that the Church failed to condemn slavery; it was that few heard and most of them did not listen. In this era, popes had little or no influence over the Spanish and the Portuguese since at that time the Spanish ruled most of Italy and papal bulls had no moral force among the British and the Dutch. If the pope had little influence in Spain or Portugal, he had next to none in their New World colonies, except indirectly through the work of the religious orders such as the Jesuits.

Now pay attention, the Spanish (who ruled most of Italy at the time) had made it illegal even to publish papal decrees in their colonial possessions without Spanish royal consent. It was the Jesuits who defied Spanish law and read Urban VIII's bull in public in Rio de Janeiro initiating the great Catholic resistance against colonial political powers to enslave the indigenous people of the Americas (and read the Code Nair and Codigo Negro Espanol) culiminating in 1754 when paraguay Indians, trained by the Jesuits in military tactics and possessing both muskets and cannon, defeated both Spanish and Portugese troops who had come to destroy their republic and enslave the Indians.

Unfortunately for the Indians, both nations amassed an enormous military force and the next year attacked again ending and looting the Indian's republic, expelling all Jesuits from the Western Hemisphere.

But the die had been cast. Abolition was afoot and ultimately it would prevail. The common assertion most atheists I talk to have that the Catholic Church generally favored slavery is not true. In fact, they strongly resisted it from the papacy to the religious orders in the field even to the point of bloodshed on behalf of both Indians and Africans. It's no surprise that when American Quakers initiated the abolition movement in North America, they found kindred souls among not only other Protestants but among the Roman Catholic population too.

(1) Pope Paul III (1534 to 1549) was very effective and pious fully recognizing the moral significance of Protestantism and initiating the Counter-Reformation in response. His bull against New World slavery stated:

"[Satan,] the enemy of the human race, who always opposes all good men so that the race may perish, has thought up a way, unheard of before now, by which he might impede the saving word of God from being preached to the nations. He has stirred up some of his allies who, desiring to satisfy their own avarice, are presuming to assert far and wide that the Indians of the West and the South who have come to our notice in these times be reduced to our service like brute animals, under the pretext that they are lacking in the Catholic faith. And they reduce them to slavery, treating them with afflictions they Would scarcely use with brute animals. Therefore, We... noting that the Indians themselves indeed are true men, by our Apostolic Authority decree declare by these present letters that the same Indians and all other peoples-even though they are outside the faith- should not be deprived of their liberty or their other possessions and are not to be reduced to slavery, and that whatever happens to the contrary is to be considered null and void."

Not to be a fly in your ointment, but this is one of several clear historical case where the Jesuits actually did some good by uplifting the authority of the Papacy in the New World.

The Jesuit Order was created by Catholic Ignatius Loyola in 1500s to counter the Reformation and uplift the authority of the Papacy.

I don't fully disagree with St. Ignatius. In his time, and I still agree with the sentiment, secular government was beneath the Church. Most of the Protestant Reformation came about because of political ploys to cut ties to the Vatican. It's why the German princes joined Luther, and why Henry XVIII broke from Catholicism.

Good point. The German princes always were opportunistic. For example, they backed the pope against King Henry III's attempts to reform the Roman Catholic Church to gain greater independence but their descendants later backed Luther in similar circumstances for the same reason (e.g. greater independence).

I think though that your assertion is too simplistic. By the sixteenth century, there was a very real desire amongst large segments of the Christian population to return to a more ascetic faith, a genuine more primitive apostolic Christianity if you will.

But Hus and Luther failed to directly reform the Roman Catholic Church. It can only be argued that Luther indirectly influenced RCC reform by creating the pressure for the RCC to initate the Counter-Reformation.

Luther; however, did succeed in creating a surviving Christian reform alternative movement to the Roman Catholic Church and that's why he's credited with initiating "Protestant Reformation."

In my opinion, he achieved a material shift toward a genuine more primitive apostolic Christianity but I would argue that he failed to accomplish it.

But it's important to note that there is a very real sociological reason for Protestantism succeeding that transcends "political ploys to cut ties to the Vatican." Had Protestant doctrines not had widespread popular appeal, there would have been no Protestant movement.

In northern Europe, Catholic weakness stemmed from the Church's failure to have Christianized the general public, for example. In some other areas, long-standing resentment toward the Church was associated with bloody repression of prior movements such as the Cathars and Waldensians as another example.

Areas were more likely to become Protestant if their governments aligned with popular preferences and royal self-interest did shape the Protestant Reformation because some regimes had much to gain in terms of wealth and power from turning Protestant while others not much at all. The former initiated "political ploys to cut ties to the Vatican" as you assert but could never have been successful except for the real desire amongst large segments of the Christian population for real reform.

Oh I don't deny there were and are true believers. For them the Reformation had no influence on whether they were saved or not. It just angers me for many to not realize that their beliefs were used by people who had nothing but selfish interests in the Reformation.

I understand your anger at the manipulation of the common people that occurred with respect to royalty; however, the RCC had deteriorated to the point that a reformation and counter-reformation were both desperately needed for those common people to even be saved.

By the fourteenth century the Church had lost credibility as an example of Christ-like living. Cynicism was rampant. It was no secret that Pope John XXII had a son who was raised to cardinal. Like Luther, England's John Colet had been shocked at the brazen ungodliness of the pope and cardinals when he visited Rome.

From his pulpit in London's St. Paul's Cathedral, of which he was the dean, Colet thundered his disapproval:

"Oh, the abominable impiety of those miserable priests, of whom this age contains a great multitude, who fear not to rush from the bosom of some foul harlot into the temple of the Church, to the altars of Christ, to the mysteries of God!"

For years it had been a common saying that "Rome has more prostitutes than any city in the world because it has the most celibates." Pope Sixtus IV turned that fact into a source of considerable profit by charging Rome's numerous brothels with a Church tax. Then he gathered more wealth still by charging a tax on mistresses kept by priests.

Will Durant reports:

"There were 6,800 registered prostitutes in Rome in 1490, not counting clandestine practitioners, in a population of some 90,000. In Venice, the census of 1509 reported 11,654 prostitutes in a population of some 300,000. An enterprising printer published a 'catalogue of all the principal and most honored courtesans of Venice, their names, addresses, and fees.'"

Upon becoming Pope Alexander VI, Rodrigo Borgia, who had committed his first murder at age 12, cried triumphantly, "I am Pope, Pontiff, Vicar of Christ!" Gibbon calls him "the Tiberius of Christian Rome." Though he scarcely pretended to be a Christian, he was, like all the popes, deeply devoted to Mary. Of him a leading Florentine scholar wrote:

"His manner of living was dissolute. He knew neither shame nor sincerity, neither faith nor religion. Moreover, he was possessed by an insatiable greed, an overwhelming ambition and a burning passion for the advancement of his many children who, in order to carry out his iniquitous decrees, did not scruple to employ the most heinous means."

Like his predecessor, Pope Innocent VIII, Borgia as a fond father admitted who his children were, baptized them personally, gave them the best education, and proudly officiated at their weddings in the Vatican, which were attended by Rome's leading families. Alexander VI had ten known illegitimate children, four of them (including the notorious Cesare and Lucrezia) by Vannozza Catanei, his favorite mistress.

I haven't even broached the widespread corruption of the laity or Luther's ninety-five complaints. I think you get the point which is that reform was desperately needed at the time it arose.

Newspapers, blogs, talk-shows on radio and television are full of discussion over Pope Benedict XVI’s supposed call for a “new world order” or a “one-world government.” These ideas are, however, neither based in reality nor a clear reading of the Pope’s latest encyclical, Caritas in Veritate, the release of which yesterday spawned the heated discussion.
The Pope actually speaks directly against a one-world government, and, as would be expected from those who have read his previous writings, calls for massive reform of the United Nations. Confusion seems to have come from paragraph 67 of the encyclical, which has some choice pull-quotes which have spiced the pages of the world’s news, from the New York Times to those of conspiracy theorist bloggers seeing the Pope as the Anti-Christ.
The key quote which has led to the charge reads: “To manage the global economy; to revive economies hit by the crisis; to avoid any deterioration of the present crisis and the greater imbalances that would result; to bring about integral and timely disarmament, food security and peace; to guarantee the protection of the environment and to regulate migration: for all this, there is urgent need of a true world political authority, as my predecessor Blessed John XXIII indicated some years ago.”
However, in paragraph 41, the Holy Father specifically differentiates his concept of a world political authority from that of a one-world government. “We must,” he says “promote a dispersed political authority.” He explains that “The integrated economy of the present day does not make the role of States redundant, but rather it commits governments to greater collaboration with one another. Both wisdom and prudence suggest not being too precipitous in declaring the demise of the State. In terms of the resolution of the current crisis, the State’s role seems destined to grow, as it regains many of its competences. In some nations, moreover, the construction or reconstruction of the State remains a key factor in their development.”
Later in the encyclical (57) he speaks of the opposite concept to one- world government -subsidiarity (the principle of Catholic social teaching which states that matters ought to be handled by the smallest, lowest or least centralized competent authority) – as being essential. “In order not to produce a dangerous universal power of a tyrannical nature, the governance of globalization must be marked by subsidiarity,” says the Pope.

I do believe, Ignatius will agree with Pope in this target.

That why I believe that secret oath Jesuit is real.

I don't believe that institution like European institute protestant lie where the material easy to verify.

My Mothers Death Bed Experience

We went in at 11:00 AM. The girls said to her, Evelyn,
Judy is here. Mom shook her head 'NO'....she did not
want me . But I told the girls, it is okay... It
will be okay. So as I said they left us alone the whole
day.

I began to talk with mom and she was not responding,
but slowly going into the realm of death. I spoke softly
and with love to her. I encouraged her it was okay. I
told her it was okay to go. I stroked her cheek... I kept
watch on her feet to see how much they were darkening.
I kept her lips moist. Stroked her cheek... I laid my
cheek against hers, whispered to her, prayed with her.
She always said she was ready to go. She was baptized
and did go to church through the years, and loved gospel
songs. So this was not a new thing for her to hear me
talk to her about Jesus.

I read scriptures and prayed.. I kept telling her it was
okay to go. I explained to her she would see her loved
ones... Jesus was waiting... still , she simply
could not die. I was letting her go. I know I told you
about the things she did, but I loved my mom and I knew
this was the end for her. She was 85... Her mind was
so good for her age.

Okay, after a day of trying to help her through the process,
I finally prayed again and turned to open the Bible and no
place in particular, but directly to John 14... Behold I go to
prepare a place for you..... wow.... that was God... and I read
that... still, there was something holding her back.. I said,
Father I do not know what else to do, by this time it almost
6:00 PM... and He gave me these words to speak to her....

but wait... let me explain something I forgot to tell you..
She was a foster child taken in to a Catholic family and raised
her until she was 18. She went to mass with them, but did
not practice, and was protestant throughout the years.....

Ok, so I ask God what do I do now ? He spoke to me... say this.
I spoke as He gave me these words.... I felt the spirit of God rise
up and said, YOU SPIRIT OF RELIGION I REBUKE YOU IN JESUS
NAME, YOU HAVE NO POWER OVER HER, SHE DOES NOT PRAY
TO MARY, SHE WILL NOT GO TO PURGATORY , SHE WILL GO
STRAIGHT INTO THE ARMS OF JESUS CHRIST....

The most awesome transformation that is indescribable,
she actually took on a glow. I thought, Lord, if I could see mom
smile, I will know she made it.... she had let out 3 little wisps of
air, and then a smile came upon her face.......Ahhh.. God
is so awesome.
