...and because I have too much time on my hands this evening, because I couldn't help but search 'cookie meme', because I enjoy flooding this thread...

Because we are surrounded by food, advertisements, fast food. Food is the easiest drug to buy. Plus carbs are evil .

Carbs are not evil to me as I seem to be wasting away. I think I will go to our local super Wal-Mart and score some drugs.

I've lost 15 lbs these past couple months,..I've still got a few more,...But,..Its so tough,..

I miss eating whatever I want :/

Gahh!! Gotta press on.

LOL my dog....poor Spice. She thinks everything is after her sometimes. I have a ceiling fan in my new room, and there's an old job app I never turned in (life got crazy, and now it's not valid due to the fact I have my old address and old e-mail on it.) and it's blowing from the breeze. Spice sniffed it and it moved and she bolted out of my room.

No... I just have to find an apartment to find and to move into, a job to start, a ton of people to call, a wedding and reception to plan, a baby to teach how to crawl, a room to clean, laundry to do, a ring to find, two bodies to keep fed, and a wedding dress to fix the way I want it... No I'm not stressed at all...
I seriously wonder how any woman gets through just planning a wedding... Let alone the rest of what I'm going through...
Its seriously the best time to kick a girl out right? When she has other things to NOT stress about?

Sounds like a lot :/ I'll be praying for ya, I'm sure you'll make it all happen :)

baby will teach itself to crawl, just put it on the floor, put something nice in it's way and turn your back :p

The countdown to the last day of school for my kids is on. My daughter thought it was tomorrow. I had to give her the bad news that because of 2 snow days, Tuesday is the last day. She was pretty bummed. Friday is the last day of gym so she thought that was it, it's over. So her Brother informed her that just because gym is ending that doesn't mean school is ending. Then she got mad at him. It takes me about 8 or 9 minutes to drive them to school. Sometimes I have two quite kids, sometimes two kids playing a game or singing songs, or sometimes, today, two arguing kids.

I think the school is scraping up things to do. Tomorrow is field day for 1-3, Monday is who knows, Tuesday is field day for everyone. The air in that school must be full of anticipation during the last few days.

I remember my kids doing this sort of flopping thing on the floor before they learned to crawl. It was pretty cute.

My grandparents are kicking me out to make room for someone else :/ I'm okay, but I'm not happy about it.

Thank you, your prayers are appreciated.

I can't tell you how many times I tried that. She does do the flopping thing though. My mom says she had to show me how to crawl... I've tried showing Addi how to crawl too, that hasn't worked

even though i'm not a kid (technically) and i have no kids, i still find some gleeful enthusiasm about the end of school/beginning of summertime. i don't know why. it's just sentimental nostalgia, i suppose.

it reminds me of a passage from a wordsworth poem, "to a butterfly":

we'll talk of sunshine and of song,
and summer days, when we were young;
sweet childish days, that were as long
as twenty days are now.
