What do you make of the passage in Genesis where the Lord makes aprons for Adam and Eve?

But that was after the fall. This gives me the impression that we were not meant to wear clothes, I understand that after Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit they realised that they were naked and fashioned clothes from fig leaves.
try no waring any clothes and in minus temperatures then and see how long you last,

Adam & Eve were created in the image of God. God wears a clothing of light so Adam & Eve wore a clothing of light. When they sinned they lost the clothing of light. If there eyes were opened after they sinned and they seen they were naked then Satan was right not God.
Well, I don't necessarily have a problems with bikinis on a beach; but even with believers in the Lord Jesus, whose sins are forgiven, there is still a need for at least some basic covering: the solution to sin has been found but the effect of the fall indwells, even if not now dominant.

Dear wouter1001......as a born again spirit filled new believer, would you feel comfortable with any woman staring at your nakedness and having lustful thoughts, or stumbling in her own walk if she's a christian? Does that seem to you like a holy situation? I think your question pretty much answers itself. Search your own conscience and you will hear the voice of God.

For the Christian in public on a beach, a G-string at least would be expected, presumably. Otherwise it becomes rather distracting, to say the least.
There was a man and his wife and NO ONE else around, Clothes were not all that necessary for modesty at the time. What does God say about nakedness?
Do a concordance search for naked and neakedness and see what God says.
Who are you kidding? The lust of the eyes is not readily defeated. Going to the beach and exposing yourself to women in bathing suits is difficult for even the most disciplined mind.
This whole thing is ridiculous nudism and lust of the eye. You have committed adultery with her in your heart already. Not only do you lust with the eyes but you lie to yourself and expect God to excuse you for doing it.
The sin nature wars against the Spirit nature. Feed the one you wish to follow.

The "clothing of light" speculation is utterly unbiblical and nowhere supported by Scripture. The Bible clearly says in Genesis 2:25 "And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed".

Here is a deep examination of that section of Scripture and the reasons God provided Adam & Eve clothing. A short excerpt:
"But… is that really why God gave Adam and Eve clothing? Was God’s purpose for clothing at that moment in time to provide a future means by which sexual purity would upheld?
There is no such declaration in the text that that is the case, nor is there any command associated with the clothing of Adam and Eve in Gen. 3:21 (Read the entire context). Of course, that fact by itself does not prove the idea wrong, but it certainly should give us pause, and call us to reevaluate the assumptions."

Yes, God created man in His Image................BUT that image WAS NOT a physical/earthy Image...........God is a SPIRIT.......the image He created in us is our eternal spirit...............
Our physical/earthy bodies are for this world..........not a representation of His Image.............
Scripture says Jesus took upon Himself the "form of man." Were our physical/earthy bodies His Image, there would have been no need for Jesus to do this..............
Before the fall....................AFTER the fall............seems important to know the difference in my opinion.........

An inspired writer of scripture didn't tell people to go around naked because they're now Christians. This verse indicates we're to at least wear clothes. If we weren't to wear clothes, then God wouldn't have said to put on clothing. He'd have said to walk around naked.

I don't get this logic of 'before the fall' people try to apply to so many things. Regardless of what Gods intents where before the fall, we are now After the fall. Period. We are not Adam or Eve. We are not pre-sin, pre-fall. Why people think we are supposed to live like Adam and Eve did before they sinned is utterly ridiculous. We have sin. We're born into it. Period. We don't get to excuse sin just because it wasn't sin before Adam and Eve sinned. It became sinful to them then. They didn't say 'well, it didn't bother me before, so it shouldn't know'. They found coverings. So should we. Jesus wore clothes, did he not? Show me a single evidence of biblical nudism or that suggests we are to attempt to replicate the pre-fall era lifestyles.
You're aware that if you take off your clothes that you're naked. So a person shouldn't uncover themselves even though they doesn't get aroused, but if someone has seen them being naked might get arouse like how they does at Strip joint . And so it is best for Naturist to stay behind close door if they feel if they want to be naked and which I recommend that they should cover their household furniture.
