First post and its a depressive one.

I feel like crap right now, once again im falling away into sin, just as i think im being changed by Christ i fall back again into the world, into listening to secular music and into lust, being judgmental, full of pride, selfishness and greed.
Just as i think i'm winning in get set back and feel doomed, I know the rapture will happen soon, i just know and i have a feeling i'm going to be left behind because of my sinful ways. I'm doing nothing for Christ and nothing for myself.

I pray for help but nothing gets answered. Not sure what to do right now, not sure at all.

Honestly feel lost.

I'm battling lust, too, and praying my way out of it is helping so much. When I'm under attack, I just pray that the Lord fights it for me. Only HE can put our flesh at bay, only HE can give us self-control. The stupid mistake I've been making for the last couple of years is trying to fight my flesh on my own... But we have no power, we cannot do it alone. Pray that the Lord gives you the power to say no, and pray that He fights your lust and temptation and flesh and sin for you. It is the only way.

God bless, man. I know what it's like. I'm always here if you wanna talk more, just hit me with a private message.

We only convince ourselves that we really need anything that this world has to offer. If you're anything like me, you probably get this empty feeling of guilt afterwards. Does it bring you peace to do any of those things? Is it worth it? Does it make you special to do what everyone else does? Most importantly, does it please God to watch his son suffer from his own choices? These are just some of the questions that pop in my head. Perhaps you can ask yourself these questions next time when you really feel like doing something you're not supposed to, before you actually do it.

Recognise that it is a good thing that you recognise these things, and that you hate them because of your true nature. Your spirit is born again, allow the Holy Spirit to renew your mind and to show you who you truly are. A war wages within us but ultimately we have won, God is believing the best in you because He is love.

Well, I will help you out, You are forgiven! aslong as you asked!, Now turn away from sin, but its hard right?

One reason you may not be getting answered nor can not is you may not be baptized in the holy spirit or born again! baptized means praying to god to fill you wil the holy spirit and to baptized you in it! and ask forgivness of your sins, and ask jesus to guide your life, that you trust him and accept him, read this if you wish How to become a Born Again Christian

Hey bro, where in oz are ya?

Im from melbourne man and yourself?
I hope that it is born again, i used to feel like i was but now i dont at all because of how evil minded i am again, its horrible as.

And ScaryJS that's what i think i need to do more now and i agree, i notice when i'm about to have a panic attack i cry out and ask for the Lord to help me and save me and he stops it, it is true. I think that's where i go wrong also, i try though ask for help but i just give in to my wickedness.

God bless you too brother. I appreciate it and Likewise, dont hesitate.

Callmebadger always at the time of sin i feel wrong yet slightly at peace then afterwards i realize just what i've done and thats always the case. Its one of the greatest tricks and lies, that false period of peace and pleasure in whatever sin, weather it be pridefulness or lust.
Defiantly thought provoking questions. Thankyou man.

Thank-You aswell for the link beck! :)

Greetings Zechariah. Welcome. Sorry you are feeling down.

Pardon me for asking you if you have ever asked the Lord Jesus, the risen God-man, 2nd person of the Trinity, to save you? For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Have you ever prayed as follows?

"Lord Jesus, please save me, transform me from sinner to child of God, forgive me of my sins, and give me your free gift of eternal life. I do now trust you as my only and sufficient Savior, and I depend upon your atonement on the cross to pay for all my sins.

You certainly do not sound self-righteous at all. Perhaps certain secular music is a stumbling block, but the Bible says nothing bad about "secular music." So it seems strange to list it with other sins.

If you are saved, then perhaps you are in a Romans 7 rut.

If you go at the Rapture it will be because the Lord Jesus paid for all your sins, and you are saved by grace. In many ways we Christians stumble, as James says.

Gal 2 says:

" yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. But if, while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a transgressor. For I through the law died to the law, that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ lives in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me. I do not make void the grace of God: for if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nought."

Actually baptized with the Spirit happens once to every Christian when he trusts Christ as Savior (1 Cor 12:13). It makes you part of the Church, the Body of Christ.

The only passage I know of that tells us how to be filled to all the fulness of God is the prayer in Ephesians 3, an intercessory prayer by Paul for the Ephesians, in which their only action to take is faith, Christ dwells in the heart (not the periphery) by faith.

I think even though you don't feel as if God is answering your prayers I would highly encourage you to keep praying. It may take God years to answer your prayers but He says He will so just trust Him. As far as your sins, we all sin whether we are Christians is not and God treats each sin the same. What I would do to stop myself from doing that particular sin is pray about it ask God to help you. Then start out let's just say your gonna go a day without secular music. Each time you accomplish your goal move it up. You say you are not living for God, you need to change that. God needs to be the first priority in your life. If you have not accepted Christ as your Savior and Lord is your confused I'd be glad to talk.

If it doesn't make since feel free to message me or if you ever want to talk.:-)
