I was supposed to have a day off today, but I got called in to work because a coworker called in sick. I stayed up a little later last night because I thought I could sleep in, so it was a bit of a rough morning, but now I have tomorrow off instead. We NEVER get Fridays scheduled off unless it's for vacation, and this is the second time this month I've gotten a Friday off because I've covered on another day! So, it's actually kind of nice.

However, there's a slight chance that I may still have to go in tomorrow if my coworker still doesn't feel well...I think I may cry if that happens.

Well...if you cry down the 'phone to your supervisor, then s/he might not have the heart to insist that you go in tomorrow...

Republicans love the keystone pipeline, but they also hate private land being taken over by the federal government.
I really really want to see their reaction if Obama approves it, then the feds start grabbing private land to build it.
Which of their dueling ideals will win?

If it makes you feel any better, I've had to work 6 days a week the last 4 out of 5 weeks and I'm normally scheduled to have Fridays and Saturdays off, so having two days off this weekend actually feels like a vacation. o_O

side note, that kiddo's pjs are awesome.
Ah, we have Cheetos in Australia, and a variety called Cheezels. The latter are ring-shaped so, as a child, you could put them on your fingers. You Americans don't make small-sized chip containers, do you? :p Our largest Cheetos pack is around 150 or 200gm.

There is a difference between griping/belly aching, and sharing your legit burdens and cares with others. You don't belly ache and gripe. I'm sure most here are willing to help in carrying any burdens you have.

Well in that case...I have a huuuuuge belly ache today. Ooooh it hurts. :p

Kidding, kidding. :)

Right now things aren't going TOO bad. Most of you know Mom had another surgery yesterday. They plan on her being able to be released Monday. Where she goes from there I'm not sure. We're not sure whether we're ready to take her back home because Mom is going to want to help us pack and move in any way she can. She might get really stressed if she sees how much there is to be done and she can't do it, which WILL NOT help her feel better.

I'm thinking of packing up non-essentials in my room today (like decorations and dolls. Porcelain dolls.). There should be enough boxes to do that. Hopefully enough bubblewrap to go with it. I should disassemble my desk like I've been wanting to the last month since it's becoming a catch-all, which is THE LAST THING I need.

So um, I'm kinda nervous for a situation at work today, involving what may be a new job. I'll spare you the details as they are kinda messy, but could be career changing depending on what happens today.
Prayers are with you to trust no matter what way it turns out to be and look like

I most definitely didn't make it through today without getting cussed out. Bummer
Or praise God, in the midst and all evil through praise is killed, read the story of King Jehoshaphat, in sending out the praise and worship band up front
Just as whenever some puts up the finger at me, I say thank you, I know in God I am number one,
now what does that do to evil? Kills it, and I don't usually get that anymore in driving as I did once before, and not saying it was not me fault, but me reaction I am accountable for you think?
