I just got done teaching some piano lessons. The family made me stay late because they were making paninis and wanted me to have some. Life is rough sometimes.
 
All thunder & rain make me wanna do is sit outside on an old fashion type southern porch & sip some tasty beverage.

one of the things i miss about living in vegas was the AMAZING lightning and thunder storms. my place was right on the edge of a desert and it provided an ideal backdrop for sitting on my porch and marveling.

the downside of being on the edge of the desert?

biblical numbers of giant and prehistoric looking bugs that kept me calling the exterminator every other week.

you really haven't lived until you've found a 6" centipede nestled in your china hutch.
 
Thunder and lightning scares me and if I hear the wind noise at night I won't be able to sleep at all!! :)

it is an ENCYCLOPEDIA of consciousness and thoughts.


This probably needs to be archived before it gets turned into a really bad sci-fi series.

today i feel an almost undeniable urge to liquidate and become a nomadic bum, of sorts--shake the moss off underfoot and savor the freedom of waking up in a new place every single morning.

i genuinely wonder how long it would take for that to become old.

a chance to round up my road music, travel light, and have a kerouackian-style adventure.

minus the alcoholism.
