one of my favorite concepts that i've learned over time in my own life is that we, as people, never have the luxury of simply standing still. whether i like it or not, i can't ever think that i'm free to "pause" a relationship or put something important to me on a shelf to pick up at a later, more convenient time.

at times, this is a hard thing for me to accept (still).
we are constantly in a state of evolution. and when we're not growing, pushing, and seeking, then by default, we are stagnating.

because nothing stands still.

The righteous keep moving forward, and those with clean hands become stronger and stronger. job 17:9

As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.
1 peter 2:2

so, what (action) verbs best describe you?

are there (action) verbs that don't describe you today, but you hope to be someday?

You know how when you are falling asleep sometimes you feel like you are falling and you wake up and your body kind of freaks out? That whole process is the verb that describes me.

My verbs at this moment:
Sits. hahaha.
I always feel like I'm waiting.
or slowlyprogressing.
But is it's always slow like molasses dripping from a tree.
During specific seasons eventually the Lord bottles it up and shows me what is in the jar.

What I hope to be in the future:
Running, speeding, getting speeding tickets.
Throwing my fists in the air,
Improving,
Realizing every day that the little things, are what is taking me to the places I need to go
and that the little things are significant.

So right now after writing this list: Drinking........coffee.
