Here's one: when the soda fountain (especially its ice dispenser) doesn't immediately go off after releasing the button.

Miley Cyrus's hair...and persona.
The movie The Grey. That has to be the most depressing movie I've seen in my life. You're watching it and thinking ''Ok, it will get better now, someone will save them''. Well, it never does.
The View. I was getting ready for work the other day and had the tv on, and The View was on. Everyone was interrupting each other, no one was making any sense, one moment they were talking about global warming and the next they're talking about Justin Bieber.

I loved the grey I thought it was amazing.

The whole movie is about the inevitability of death. Its about how each of us must face God in the end and death and come to terms with the finality of our own life.

People have to come to terms with God.

Thats a pretty intense concept, some people are not ready for it.

Yes. The exorable plight of mankind when the last remnant of self absorption melts in the presence of God......

I agree, Liamson. Most folks definitely have difficulty coming to terms with their own mortality. Few realize how thin a thread we are all hanging by. I will never understand how people who don't know the Lord live from moment to moment for this very reason. Maybe I'm just ODing on reality today. :)

I was talking with a co-worker and he was giving me a hard time about something that was supposedly was destroying my body. My response was "We are all going to die someday aren't we?" I don't think he had ever given it any real thought.

Every time I see a clip from "The Office" I think WhatIsThisIDon'tEven?

I didn't see that in the movie- even though I agree 100% with you about the inevitability of death. I love watching Criminal Minds, and I don't even think that show is deppressing compared to this movie. What I saw in the movie was a guy who was mad at God, and the consequences of an empty, meaningless life. At one point of the movie he even called out for God and asked if he was going to help him, and then he would believe (or something like that, I watched it a long time ago), which never happened. I have no problem with the concepts in the movie, because they were very real. Even the wolves I believe had a symbolic meaning of the demons or struggles we face in our lives.

But....I just didn't like the way the concepts were presented. At the end, there was nothing to hope for, nothing to believe, no God, just helpless humanity left to themselves. Just the pure concept of hopeless death. I can face the concept of death, but death with no hope....I don't like it.
