So the flu is rapidly spreading around Pennsylvania. I went to the Chiropractor today and we were discussing flu shots, I was concerned because I hadn't had or had my kids have a flu shot in a few years. I've grown concerned over the stuff they put in it.

He made me feel better about it. If they get the flu, they get the flu. They're young and healthy. Then he asked me if I ever had a flu shot as a kid. Nope.

So next time my Mom is on my back about not getting flu shots, I will reminder her of that.

I'm glad you mentioned this Fenner. We never get the shot either. There's someone in our church who (it is suspected) had serious side effects from a flu shot. With all the hype this year, I was getting a little concerned. Did a ton of research... was considering getting the shot, when I realized that it has eggs in it, and I'm allergic to eggs. So, thanks for providing the direction I needed to make a decision, Lord. :)

Well, I already heard he was in Space Jam. ;)


And the flu shot also contains formaldehyde (yuuuck) and mercury (though it's no labeled as mercury. It's labeled as something else. I forget what.)

Also, I didn't know you were allergic to eggs!! Has that been all of your life or something you developed? I know that I developed a sensitivity to wheat when I got REALLY sick near the end of 2009.

I've had the allergy since childhood, though it's a little strange... It's mostly a skin allergy - facials or anything like that with egg in them, my skin reacts violently toward. For consumption, I've only had noticeable allergic reactions when eating eggs while pregnant (we are more sensitive to allergies during pregnancies), which resulted in lots of puking. :p

I'm also have a lactose intolerance, for cow milk at least. Grew up with fresh goat milk and had no trouble.

I'm glad you realized your wheat sensitivity! Have you felt a lot better since getting off of gluten?

I had that show The Doctor's on this morning. First they had this thing about the rapid spreading flu and H1N1 Flu, then they come back with, don't panic.

My son told me today that Bigfoot is real. I said, really? How did you find out about that? Well his picture was in the encyclopedia, actually it was a man hiding in the bushes and he took his picture. Mom, everything in the encyclopedia is real.

I didn't have the heart to tell him that they busted that guy who wore that Bigfoot costume.

On tonights itnerary, watching new Spoils of Babylon episode, then latest Murdoch Mysteries episode. Already watched Inside Llewyn Davis. It was OK. Probably wouldn't watch it again, but I don't regret checking it out.

So 1960's folk, weird show about the 20s, a mannequin, Tobey McGuirer that looks awhole lot like Elijah Wood, and murder mysteries set in 1890s Toronto. My dreams will be interesting tonight.
