Hmmm never mind, after everything, I am only getting 2400.00. I am getting charged for three deductibles, cus my parents didn't follow through with 2 claims. Guess I'll be busing it for a while... I don't want to get something for 2400. So by the end of this week, I'll have 600 to save towards it. Then just need another 700 or so to get a somewhat decent car. (I don't know if anyone is actually reading this, just typing to myself). Not looking forward to taking the bus at 6:30am to get to work tho...

I'm reading it Persnikity. I've been in your shoes many times. My first car that was all mine, meaning I wasn't sharing it with a sibling or even my Mom was a Ford Festiva. It was my husband's car, but he had to commute a long way so he got a better car and I used that one. I loved my little clown car. It had no radio, no AC , it was my first stick shift and it was so much fun to drive. It had small donut tires. It was about 15 dollars to fill up. I remember one time on the highway in winter it was so windy and icey that I did donuts. I didn't mean to but little Freddie just couldn't handle it.

Eventually the clutch died and I got a new car.

I have such a love/hate relationship with technology.
It's wonderful that we can connect with people thousands of miles away just by picking up the phone...
And it's horrible that the phone can decide how long you get to talk to that person because it thinks it needs to like...be charged, or some stupid thing.

I had to look that up to see what the heck it was. When I figured it out, it elicited an eye roll.

Sometimes it's good to be from a different generation.

Well, we did turn it off after one episode. I looked at him and asked what he thought. He said he wasn't expecting such a good plot from a show about ponies. We'll likely watch it again.

However, he was a little curious as to why I leaped off the couch and pointed like a maniac when I saw the pony that's in Shour's avatar. :p

Haha - I did that too! I was all, "LOOK, it's Shour!" Haha. And then Mac wasn't in any of the rest of the show, or the two after that.

I feel a little more informed about several memes floating around now, though.

LOL I said the exact same thing!

My boyfriend was entertained mostly because he thought one of the ponies very well matched my personality. He started calling me by her name.. until I gave him the glare of doom.

I'm sorry to those who like the show, but I'm quite put off by guys that like it. Guess I'm old fashion. I don't think I could ever date a brony. It weirds me out

I'll be honest...I did in fact finally YouTube a few episodes of MLP,and while it doesn't really bother me that men of all ages like the show,I guess I didn't see really how it's become so huge maybe? I dunno..but ummmm yeah...so I'm thinking Imma stick with Adventure Time with Finn & Jake,'cause Jake is a Bulldog & I ♥ Bulldogs...plus he's loves to cook Everything Burrito's,and like him I loooooooooooooooooooove Everything Burrito's!

I made a last minute pumpkin custard with rice and coconut milk (I used coconut because I ran out of rice) and raw sugar. :D This is my first time making pastries and stuff, and overall baking with coconut milk. Needless to say I was nervous. Because coconut milk can be strong in flavor. I tried coconut milk with peaches once. It was disgusting. My sister tried it with cocoa krispies. That didn't turn out well, either. But the pumpkin and spices must mask the flavor of it, either that or it just blends really well. Because when I tasted the batter, it was really good!

Also...I wonder if disagreement is considered hate speech because so many people who DO disagree end up hate-speeching (hehe, I invented a new word. :D) the opposing party, and then, well, commence the mud-flinging!

What really irks me about the whole hate speech conflict stuff is this, they'll take a person like the guy from Duck Dynasty who's this older Christian man who probably watch the show and know somewhat his beliefs, then some person will ask him what he thinks is sinful, he's honest and all of a sudden Mr. Duck Dynasty guy is a bigot and no one watch the show or buy his stuff, now he'll be thrown off Duck Dynasty, until next week when A&E realizes that if they get rid of that show they probably won't be around anymore. So they'll welcome him back with open arms.

Another example Dan Cathy from Chik Fil A, Christian company Christian organization, how do you feel about gay marriage? What did they think he was going to say?

All Christians are bigots you know. Good Lord, it will never end.
