They've done worse than Pope Francis and Edward Snowden. Time awarded Hitler the prize in 1938 and Stalin it in 1939. Nothing against Pope Francis and Snowden but enough said, I don't bother with Time magazine except to start the fireplace with. This is an Internet age. We have better sources of information now.
I'm not sure Snowden was really that bad compared to any of these guys.

I don't agree with everything he's said or done, but I hope he gets to come back a free man. And when he does I hope he receives a warm welcome.

Well...I don't think this site is for me. I just signed up about 2 hours ago, and I've already seen people promoting and defending the satan-seed crapola, the guy that founded this site being accused of all kinds of things, not a single person welcomed me, the choice of forums is very limited with little participation, the interface isn't user friendly, and going strictly by the name of the site, I was expecting to find Christians here, not trolls, atheists, and people who "think" they're Christians but don't know what they're talking about. Like the guy in this thread who thinks there are billions of antichrists in the sense that no single "anti-christ will be in charge in the tribulation...Wrong. And if anything, the pope would be the false prophet, not the anti-christ. So I'll just say goodbye to you all and move on. And who knows, perhaps I'll even see a "few" of you when I get to heaven...good luck with that. Later people...

And by the way, you people might be here for the tribulation, in fact, from what little I've seen you will be, but I won't...

What did Edward Snowden do wrong? As far as I know, he only pointed out the corruption in the system. Maybe I'm missing out on other details.

The difference with Edward and say Assange is Edward was an outside contracter brought in under a secrecy contract and he broke it. An individual has made a decision that affects a country. In this case he may well be correct but it sets a precedence that a person can decide what secrets the public needs to hear.

Pope Francis is planning a trip to Israel in May 2014. This is a big deal and makes only the 3rd Papal visit to Israel since Israel became a state in 1948. The timing is very interesting. Kerry is supposed to wrap up a peace deal in late April, that's the goal. The timing of the Pope's visit to coincide with a potential peace deal is more than interesting. Let's keep an eye on this.

FYI, the next peace deal between Israel and her neighbors will the the 7th!! We all know the significance of the number 7.

I said "Nothing against Pope Francis and Snowden..." My point wasn't that they did anything wrong or the opposite of that. My point was that Time magazine has often been on the wrong side of history with respect to it's award (as many awarding bodies have) and that I don't rely on them for my information.

I appreciate you having the wisdom to ask for clarification with regards to something you were unsure about. Thanks :).
