Re: "Now Ladies, Make Sure You Put That Nice Guy That's Interested In The Friendzone!

The comment about ab's isn't true for everyone... I could care less about ab's.

The people I've ever friend zoned:

Lost guys
Someone who was 18 when I was 28 ( a lot of my church friends are younger.. He took it the wrong way)
"Christian guys with no standards or convictions)

Friend zoning isn't always a bad thing. Plus.. women get friend zoned too.

Everyone should go into the friend zone!

This is the perfect argument for courting... When Everyone is in the friend zone... Let's suppose gentleman friend thinks, "hey this friend is maybe a suitable wife?"

He then steps forward and says, "yo Lexi, I met you back in the day when you were too young to court. But hey girl you are 24 now and all so I believe we may be suited for marriage. I would like to court you! Is this pleasing to you?"

Of course I still have the choice to leave you in the friend zone when that day comes...
trust me the jerks and guys who don't love me wont even make the friend zone, thus won't get to ask me.
Yes! Friendship should precede passion.

Re: "Now Ladies, Make Sure You Put That Nice Guy That's Interested In The Friendzone!

*Disclaimer: My statements are about people in general, not directed at you Art05, because you seem to take comments personally, so please know that when I say "you" I do not mean you*

Just because a guy would give the world for a girl does not mean that the girl is obligated to return the favor and feel the same way. Same goes for girls going after guys. You can't force these things.

That's my issue with the whole "friend zone" thing people (though guys, mainly) complain about. You cannot force feelings of attraction, and sometimes she may think you are a great friend, but is not romantically attracted to you. Women aren't, and shouldn't have to be, romantically attracted to every guy friend of hers. OR, she may have been attracted to you at some time, but if the guy never made a move, she may have assumed, "Oh, I guess he's not interested" and moved her interests on. Thus, the guy feels "Aw man I got friendzoned!!1!!" because he never acted on his attractions.

Just my observations.

Now, what I don't care for is when people know that someone else likes them and takes advantage of it because they know that person would do anything for them. That is wrong.

You think abs are what's stopping women from saying yes?
I thought everyone had abs...

I should not see his abs until my wedding night, thus they have nothing to do with anything, besides ones ability to excel at the art at rowing a canoe...

Well, even the most conservative men's bathing suits usually leave the stomach exposed. Swimming might happen at some point or another, possibly. Though probably not in Alaska as much.

Some of us have abs that are concealed by a layer of protective fat.

But seriously any woman who is only interested in abs is incredibly shallow and not even worth one's time. Getting turned down by such a woman is comparable to dodging a bullet. So if the fact that my six pack is a keg turns that person away, then good riddance!

So that the male friends are available when they need a rebound relationship.
women tend to like men with masculine traits. you can be nice and masculine at the same time.

its the men that come off a little "soft" that get put in the friend zone, while the masculine men get in the end zone.

The last one who tried that (right here on CC) got trolled pretty hard.

(1) I refused to use to her name
(2) I insisted that she has to call me brother and not Praus or my real first name
(3) I said something along the lines of I'm not good enough for her, that she deserves so much better, and that it's a good thing at least I'm good enough for Jesus

Col 3:22 Servants, obey in all things [your] masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:

Acts 10:34 ¶ Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

Wow you're so sensitive for sharing that knowledge about women :).

You really understand women and feminity.

I think its about speed, if a guy shows no romantic interest in you then he would be a friend, I have never though.... oh time to put this one in the friend zone, friendship develops and personally I think friendship is a really good basis for a relationship anyway.

saying you COULD care less is saying you do care. saying you COULDNT care less is saying you dont care, at all.

I'm not quite sure what you would define as "soft", but I actually tend to be attracted to guys who have a soft heart. Masculinity in a man is all good and well, but it doesn't trump all.

being soft and having a soft heart is 2 different things. a man can have a soft heart and still be strong in character and spirit.

Is it masculine to whine about your personal problems on the internet like a little girl?

Why is it the later you stay up, the more depressed you feel?

i dont know, maybe its just me. but i have no answer for this. it happens every time. never fails.

its a question.
is it masculine to be mistaken for a woman over the internet?

is it christian-ish to attack somebody constantly you dont like?

Re: "Now Ladies, Make Sure You Put That Nice Guy That's Interested In The Friendzone!

OK, here's the 'secret' formula I've come up with when it comes to attracting women y'all..

Good looks + Confidence + Polite and caring =
strong romantic interest, women swooning over you, would-be stalkers

Good looks + Confidence + Cavalier attitude (bad boys) =
strong romantic interest, women swooning over you, would-be stalkers, 1000+ facebook friends, maybe some haters?

Average looks + Confidence + Polite and caring =
some strong romantic interest, some will get friend-zoned

Average looks + low self-esteem + Polite and caring =
will mostly get friend-zoned

Below average looks + zero self-esteem + Polite and caring =
Me! :p (Hopeless romantic, with emphasis on 'hopeless')

you're welcome. :p
