Droning?

Drone (bee) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Drones carry only one type of allele because they are haploid (containing only one set of chromosomes from the mother). During the queen's egg developing process, a diploid cell with 32 chromosomes divides to generate haploid cells called gametes with 16 chromosomes. The result is a haploid egg, with chromosomes having a new combination of alleles at the various loci. This process is also called arrhenotokous parthenogenesis or simply arrhenotoky.

Scientists have practically obliterated the ultimate symbol of maleness in DNA,
the Y chromosome, and believe they may be able to do away with it completely.

BBC News - Y chromosome: Why men contribute so little
This reminds me of the predicament male-ness faces in the modern world at large. Modern developed societies have no great need of masculine qualities any more. There may be a need, but it is often placed secondary to feminine qualities. Agricultural machinery accomplishes what masculine strength did at once. Soldiers no longer fight primarily with hand-to-hand combat. Guns are the great equalizer and can eliminate the need for a man to walk a woman home at night.

Women are given intrinsic value through their womb. Men? You need far fewer to keep a sustainable population going. The rest you can discard. When marriages end, priority for the children is given to women. The man has no opportunity to exercise his protective strength or desire to support those weaker than himself as his role in the workplace is put on even ground with that of women. Sometimes the woman supports him. He is, in effect, unnecessary. And unlike women - who are often social butterflies, men do not identify through their 'male-ness'. The masculine identity is one of pitting your strength against others' in order to prove your power as surpreme. Therefore our social roles are different. And it's only in situations of physical durress that a masculine bond can be formed between two men who can come to a mutual understanding of each other's physical prowess.

So with this lack of understanding and ability to identify with other males, this lack of intrinsic value, and the masculine becoming out-moded by modern achievements, society also tells men not to hit a woman when the woman strikes them and to sacrifice their happiness and lives for the woman in order to be 'chilvalrous' - a quality often seen as belonging to the male. What do all these characteristics engender in men today? A feeling of uselessness and powerlessness. The modern man has in effect been castrated. Then we put him down when he fails to act like a man. This is why I find feminism - or particularly any woman's reprisal of a man - to be misguided.

That's why your government is antichrist. We live in the age of the beast. The beast is ridden by a whore (Rev. 17;3). The US is ruled by whores and pimps. I'm talking about the judges and the law makers, not necessarily the president who is just a stooge of the bankers. It all started with atheists and their desire to enfranchise women whom they idolized. The direct consequence of whoredom is female emancipation. In fact the two are equivalent - female emancipation and whoredom. Women should not have the vote, but the whores demanded it of their clients, the atheists, who worshiped women and not God, who were only too willing to grant it. They are the modern priests of Cybele, and they should be forced to undergo her priestly rite too.

I'm not against equal opportunities for women. I just feel that when the sexes become equal there automatically becomes an imbalance, as any one man is inherently expendable in the eyes of modern society. Even more true is that in Chinese society at large with the greatly disproportionate male to female population, and the Mosuo ethnic group where the women rule over the household and men must answer to them. In this traditional society children are owned collectively, and marriages may be ended on a whim without any legal proceedings.

At any rate, arguing for a lower social position for women just makes me feel like I'm attempting to win a useless power struggle with women and is not something I care to involve myself in. All I know is that modern society has developed a certain way. And if men can find meaning in their lives it won't be due to their masculinity. That said, I think it's important to understand how men view their role in relationships. A lot of secular men simply end up asking themselves, "If a relationship between a man and a woman is in large part based on gender roles, then why get married when my gender serves no logical function?" It's a lot of responsibility without any significant returns.

I feel this is a big problem for marriages that likely won't be resolved any time soon.

As soon as women succeed in getting rid of us, one of them will blurt out,
"Gee, it's Friday night and there's nothing to do."

I once found a pin on the ground that said, "This is what a feminist looks like," and pinned it to my left buttocks.

I was under the impression that the sperm fused with the egg and the traits of the two individuals dna s spliced together to create a totally unique and new person? Am I missing the point of this? cause we could just as easily do away with all women and have nothing but dna reproduce in test tubes etc..

1. The baby mice in that article look really weird.

2. Men had better not go anywhere. I forbid it.

"Dr Chris Tyler-Smith, from the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, said: "This is a great step forward in understanding basic biology."

oh yes... a great leap forward. they still keep Sanger's name up front.
why wouldn't they? instead of these places being leveled, they are funded and applauded.
mind you, they call it Bioethics now.
sounds so ethically friendly ethical-ish.

Considering I think The Lord put men on earth to be leaders of family, I'd be pretty sad if they left. I like men (despite that some don't deserve to even be called men).
this earth would be very sad indeed, if men didn't exist.
i needed my daddy and still do, I'd love to find a good daddy for my daughter... Not to mention, I'm a cuddly person, and I'd much rather cuddle with my man. I don't really feel like converting to lesbianism...
Going out on a limb here, but I believe God is a man and so is Jesus, and they did wonderful jobs.
this world would be chaos if it was just women. The world would be ruled by more emotion than logic (I'm not saying women aren't logical sometimes, so don't spear me)

Well God Created man in his own image, so we have men at the begining of time of the world, so get used to it. Men are here to stay. Women were created from a rib of a man, so if they get rid of men, they will get rid of women too. because women were created from man. so there will be no one but animals. and we cant let animals be the dominant species of the world can we? lol
