It's scary when trying to change yourself. You're afraid of losing who you are, which you might no even be sure of in the first place, to become something you are not. Then again, when we don't know who we are, we don't know who we are not, and thus may find ourselves in the change. Yet people fear change because the familiar has already been dealt with.
It's a curious thing, really, because change is constant in an ever-changing world of few constants. Yet we only this moment. The moments before have passed, and moments ahead are uncertain. So, then, I guess a few songs come to mind in this regard, but I'll post this one:

A girl at the scene told public radio she had gone into the shop with her mother when a concrete block collapsed between them and that she was nearly buried in rubble. She managed to escape but had not yet found her mother.
Other witnesses said there was a loud noise and the store went dark. People escaped through holes in the windows.

I like pop/popular radio music, but only for a short time. There's only so much I can take before I start thinking, "Where are the real instruments and voices that aren't autotuned?" as well as "Wow, these lyrics are actually really dumb."
I think I'm going to attempt to make an allergy-friendly quiche with broccoli, bacon, spinach, and onion. Anyone know of some other good meats or veggies I could include?
OH, and when I include bacon, this is going to sound like the world's silliest question, but should I pre-cook the bacon before I add it in? Or let it cook with everything else?
