i really dig Dan Harvell a.k.a. Null Factor's work. his music isn't evangelical or worship-based, but the man's a Christian brother. i've always felt like, if a musician has confessed Christ, then the Spirit is in him or her, and that does manifest in the music they produce, to one degree or another, and to me that makes it worth listening to.

plus, there's just not all that many good Christian industrial bands =D so here's another one for you!

this song's pretty political-minded (lyrics are embedded in vid) -- there's very little of his work on youtube or elsewhere online, but he's been around a while, not just a one-album-wonder.

i didn't see that anyone had posted Jagged Doctrine yet either ... =o

again he's produced a lot more music than what there is to choose from on youtube.

Hope For The Dying stills sounds metalcore/deathcore to me. Even the name does. They're ok for the genre, but nothing special

I have some Jagged Doctrine, not sure if i have Null Factor but i remember the name.

My first christian metal/hardcore album

I need to listen to this more often...

Also, the band is signed to a record label called Rottweiler, along with Abated Mass of Flesh...don't know much about the label but they're looking pretty legit. Quite promising for christian punk and metal.

Yeah, Rottweiler has been around a while and had Grave Robber signed. Put out a few Xms Comps, and some other bands. They seem legit.

I like the man who goes by "ugly", he is a good man and a servant of the most high.
God bless you in Jesus Name!

Soul Embraced is on Rottweiler now too.

As are... Every Knee Shall Bow and (this one is for you Ugly) Lust Control! They have new material coming out this year. They released a single "make money and die" for free download last month.

I'd say Rottweiler is pretty legit.

Yeah, i think i may have announced that haha. But maybe not. I don't know anymore. Yeah, i think there's one more band on there, too. I'm not sure. But yeah, it's been a long time since we've had a label that just puts good music out. Not a genre specific label. Kind of hearkens back to old T&N.

Dear friends of Synnove
Things have been moving forward in the Synnove camp!
Firstly, we have been writing new material with Conor bringing song writing skills and Brad playing more melodic and lead guitar. Secondly, we have had some massive changes and we have some major announcements.
So to kick off, Conor and Brad would like to make the following exciting announcement: WE HAVE A NEW DRUMMER!
James Twitch Clarke has moved from the Riverland to Adelaide to join the band. When James auditioned for us we were very impressed with his brutality, groove and dynamics. Yet more than that he has maturity and a deep spirituality. James' musical tastes are very diverse and eclectic and he draws influences from all subgenres of metal from Black, Death, Thrash to Progressive. We are looking forward to working with him and his creative input.
In other news, we are sad to announce that our bass player Pierris is moving on after 6 years of faithful service. Pierris is primarily a guitarist and playing bass was only ever a side project for him and he felt it was time for him to focus more on guitar and his own projects. We are very sad for the loss of his maturity, organizational skills and dedication. We have learned so much from his musicanship, work ethic and professionalism. He will be sorely missed. We are looking forward to what he will create in the future and he goes with our gratitude and blessing.
Our last announcement is that our original bass player Stephanie Bessell will be rejoining Synnove! Stephanie initially left because of family commitments but after a long hiatus she feels that the time is right for her to re-engage with her musical ambitions. She has regained her passion for music and is excited about being in the band again and creating music. She will bring back to Synnove a familiar melodic vocal style that was sorely missed. We are looking forward to having her contribution of dynamic melodic female vocals in amongst the brutality!
We look forward to playing live again in the new year with a mixture of new and old material.

Reading their mission statement and all that it kind of reminded me of my favorite old label, Bettie Rocket. Grrrrreat bands from that arena :D

I vaguely remember hearing about boot to head

When I was in high school I was all about Screaming Giant and Bettie Rock, not to mention Solid State was great at the time. Let's see if anyone remembers this...

Kreepdowns!
