The bible hates a lot of things but society always focuses on a few. Is it right to bash gay men ? The bible does not condone violence. is it right to view yourself as better then gay ? No the bible says to be humble.

True. Often things get focused more heavily than others. I think part of why homosexuality is focused on so strongly is because homosexuality is such a hot topic at this time.

This does not make it any worse then other issues that surround our society.

I dont think that we have any right to condemn people when we are just as sinful.

I don't think it is condeming a person to inform them that their sin leads to death.
It is condemning to place ourselves above them.

I sympathize very strongly with you on that point. It does seem that for many Christians, homosexuality is the only sin a person could commit.

Before I attempt to comment, I would like to know your definition of Bashing and Persecution when it comes to gays.
How about phrases such as "A gay." If I said "Hey I saw a black today. Don't see much blacks." That is racist. The word "Faggot" is common among those who bash and persecute homosexuals. Those who claim that those who have homosexual orientations cannot be Christian, that is a form of persecution. Hitting and murdering people because they are gay, such as happened this past summer in New York City. The constant amount of children and teenagers who commit suicide because people treated them so horribly, JUST BECAUSE THEY SUSPECTED THE PERSON WAS GAY! This is evil, and it is of Satan. This world has fallen far, when Christians stand up and say, "Well we're not like the Westboro Baptists," but do not rise up to denounce and protest against these Synagogues of Satan. You do not have to agree with homosexuality to be a charitable and loving person.
Christians should at the very least, be able to sit down and talk to a homosexual and learn their individual story without comment. If Jesus were to sit with a homosexual, He may tell the person to stop sinning, but just as he treated Mary, who was to be stoned, He would show true love, and even friendship. Jesus dealt with the Apostles constantly bickering and doing stupid things, but at no time does He leave them. He tells them the truth, and then never leaves.
I hate Christians who bash gays...don't even get me started on the Westboro "Church". Homosexuality is a sin, but like all sins... it is redeemable. I personal have Gay friends, and I treat them like any other person...in love but it is still wrong and I don't change my stance on it. GOD LOVES GAYS just as he loves everyone here, but it is still a sin.

My thoughts on the topic are thus-
Homosexuality is apparently a biological imperative, Christian laws forbid it but god is pretty keen on the forgiveness bit. So what I plan to do is try hard to be a good,just, honorable and tolerant person and leave people's sexual orientation to themselves with the exception of pedophillia which I believes requires a mandatory sentence of beheading. The reason is I thinks gays deserve a break is I think they have a hard enough time and who I am I to judge the challenges placed before another by God. The reason for the judgement of pedophiles is I think that while god will forgive man has the right (and can bear this sin) to take the life of another who willfully takes the innocence of a child

That is the problem. If it does happen at birth, then so what. I don't know about you, but God created a whole universe...nothing is to big for him. They do deserve a break, but it is still a SIN and THERE SOUL is important. I was be happy if you corrected me now then let me go to hell, and with this kind of thinking. What comes next...soon enough...bestiality will become legal.
However, Homosexuality is SO over exploded. It's all Christians want to fight about. It is wrong, but so is adultery, and lying. Christian laws don't forbid it. God just says it is a sin and that is not how he designed us. He designed us to be man and women and women and man. Not The other way around. I have no problem with homosexuals, but you can not sugar-coat it or gloss over it.

People who physically or verbally abuse another person, is my view on persecution. Wether in threads where some just go on and on about how horribel gay people are, or wother it is an actual fist in the face
