Was it a Covenant on lay away? Given by a Jew for Jews and THEN some.
Luke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

It seems in straying from the OP an imaginary argument has been formed and that wonderful group has grabbed hold of it as though it was mentioned by the authoress of the OP. Perhaps someone somewhere has talked about that manner of viewing covenants, but it sure has nothing to do with the op. Pure piracy. Why do you all not go off and start your own spit and argue club on this new subject?

i thought Israel and the Church are separate!

hi brad - "those promises were NEVER offered to Israel - who clicked LIKE.

you folks have a schizophrenic view of Christianity
Why are we schizophrenic, because we believe and know, being fully persuaded, that God will be faithful to what he has promised Israel no matter what you or others believe or have to think or say about it? Many have come and gone and have been carried away with their own doctrine and persuasions, but God is immutable and can not reverse what He has promised. It is irrevocable and precious. To think that God would be so faithful to a people despite their rebellion and terrible heart of unbelief, that he would extend his mercy to this unrighteous and unregenerate lot and be found faithful to every word of his good promise to this people. How they will mourn with their families and be truly broken of their stubborn unbelief realizing that they were part of those whose crucified and pierced him with their rejection, God's only begotten Son. That will be a great day of restoration and redemption and being grafted back in for Israel. The plan of God has waited so long for this to be fulfill in the eyes of heaven and earth and to be enjoyed for 1,000 years reigning with Christ.

These folks aren't interested in "exposing" heresy and cults...they are more interested in ad hominem personal attacks upon people and ministries with whom they don't agree. Let the truth be known....they hate the truth and God's "light" is exposing their unChristlike intentions and motives:

John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Since this thread has been totally derailed from the original intent of the OP, here is something that should give every poster and "lurker" some "food for thought". So for those who came into this thread with an obvious "agenda" (which is something other than the original intent of the OP), for those who simply want to have a "civil" discussion on the topic of the OP, and for those who come in here to simple "lurk", here is your "food":

Wolves Among Us

In the Word of God, we read a stern, but very needful warning that everyone who has been washed in the blood of the Lamb should take to heart and to take seriously. That warning can be found in Matthew 7 and is given by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. The warning is as follows:

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

In this age of internet superhighways we have many people who, under the self-imposed label of ‘Christian’, are posting on forums and bulletin boards with the sole purpose of proselytizing new "converts" into their false belief systems. Many who are not rooted and grounded in the Word of God are being swayed into believing the heretical teachings of these “self-imposed Christians”/”wolves in sheep’s clothing”.

The Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles warn us about these “self-imposed Christians”/“wolves in sheep’s clothing”:

1 John 4:1-3 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Now, many of these wolves that Christ warns us about may tell you that they are not antichrist because they confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. But test the spirits that they are allowing to control their words. Yes, they do attest that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. But which Jesus is it that they are confessing?

These wolves are not confessing the Christ of the Bible! They are antichrists and serving a false christ… not the Son of God Almighty.

Recent encounters with one such groups reveals to me that they serve a weak god and not the God of the Bible. Sure they use the Bible, but they twist the Word of Truth into a lie. Brothers and sisters, truth, no matter how much, mixed with one lie becomes a lie. You cannot weave rayon into a cotton shirt and state that the shirt is 100% cotton. One thread of rayon changes the shirt… just one single solitary thread. Another illustration would be taking a drop of poison that is strong enough to kill 15 men and dropping it in a glass of water. The water is now useless because of the poison. Mixing truth with error perverts the truth just as mixing water with poison pollutes the water.

Be wary, my friends. Try the spirits. Sure they confess Jesus come in the flesh, but that does not necessarily mean they confess the same Jesus as you or I. The Jesus we serve is faithful to His promises. The Jesus we serve is not a deceiver.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

Stay in the Word of God. Study it daily. Etch it upon your heart. If you do not know the Word of God, you could easily be swayed into following a wolf in sheep’s clothing. You could hear the fateful words of Christ that He speaks to false teacher in Matthew 7:

Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Just so no one accuses Linda70 of "plagiarizing" the article "Wolves Among Us", I am the original author of this article and gave her permission to post and edit any part of it that she deemed necessary.

Since this thread has been totally derailed from the original intent of the OP,
 The original intent of the OP (I thought so anyway):

Jewish missions should strive to build up local churches through bringing new Jewish believers into their congregations.
Again, here's where you derailed your own thread:

Unbelieving Israel has not entered into the new covenant. That won't happen until the Second coming (Romans 11:25-29).

So everyone knows what the "intent of the OP" is, so that there won't be anymore false accusations flying about, I will post from the OP what the intent is
Linda70 said:
Jewish missions can help a new Jewish believer feel at home in a local church by instructing the local church in the sensitivities of Jewish people, and through assisting, when possible, in the discipleship of Jewish people who have come to the Lord.

The local church can help by supporting Jewish Missions and Missionaries and learning how to effectively share their faith with Jewish people. They can be an integral part in the discipleship of new Jewish believers when they come to their Messiah.

Together we can build the Body of Messiah, encourage one another in the Great Commission, and glorify our Lord before a world looking for true manifestations of acceptance and love.
Starting with the second post by Praus, this "intent" was derailed by false accusations.

Thank you. And it just so happens that my husband is in total agreement with what I have posted on this thread and the fact that the ministry of Jewish Awareness Ministries is a doctrinally sound and biblical Christian ministry, whose focus is on Jewish evangelism and missions. We are both dispensational in the literal interpretation of the Bible.

I pray for my threads...

James 5:16 ... The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Prov 15:29 The LORD [is] far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

 I'm confused, I thought dispensationalism is against Jewish evangelism.

Leave Israel and the Jews to the Lord and allow him to do as he sees fit and has purposed.

Linda, it would help your cause a lot if you wouldn't have copied and pasted over and over.

I only read words which are written by the person concerning doctrine. I don't mind the occasional copy and paste of history or geography or language.

But these long, long posts that are not in your own words are just not winning any fans. Nice for your husband. Why could he have not posted that himself?

why not pay attention to people who disagree with you or the OP.
at least then you'll know why.
judaizing is very serious.

either that or just hang tight. it'll be okay.

why is this hard to see?
and why doesn't the OP (or other dual covenanters - deny it they will) acknowledge it?

schizophrenic view of Jesus...God's whole Plan.
it's AWFUL.

First of all, if you don't like to read copy and paste posts, then why bother coming to these forum boards? Most posts on these types of discussion boards are copy and paste...and a lot are much longer than what I have posted here. What turns me off is to see a bunch of images posted from a website in a feeble attempt to discredit a doctrinally sound and biblical ministry, which was what was done on this thread.

Secondly, I don't have a "cause" that I am trying to promote. I thought the articles were well written and that the topic would be good for a civil discussion. How wrong I was. Even if I had not copied and pasted anything and written, in my own words, what I believe on the topic of Jewish missions, there would still have been annimosity on the part of the posters who are purposely causing the problems here. It is they, not I, who have the "agenda" and are purposely attempting to derail anything I post....twisting my words and bearing false witness against me. But I am used to that....but this forum is about the worst place for someone who is dispensational and defends Israel and the Jewish people.

Thirdly, it doesn't matter whose words are posted...it seems that it is the person who posts the words (their own or someone else's) who is the one being mercilessly attacked. The reason my husband didn't post his own article is because I totally changed the content and topic (with his permission)....so basically this was my own editing work from the "original" article he wrote 4 years ago.

So if you don't like long copy and paste articles, don't read them. And remember this....I'm not the one with the "agenda" trying to "promote my cause".
