I am a strong but humble man with a good heart speaking the truth from love.
You appear to have formed some false constructs in your mind. One of them looks to be that in order for a person to be humble, they must condone homosexual immorality in other people's lives. That's a patently false view of humility.
Love is many things but it is never about empowering evil, condoning wickedness, maligning the truth, engaging in codependence, etc...
When you really love people you tell them the truth even when they have been deceived by the devil and ensnared in serious sexual sin like homosexuality, adultery, and fornication.
In my opinion, you have a lot to learn about real love. That love causes people to purify themselves as John said in 1 John 3:3, "Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself just as he is pure."
Let's view the passage in context:
"Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God. This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister." 1 John 3:2-10.
^ No confusion here on this end. One doesn't have to be perfect to purify themselves and exhort others to do the same. John wasn't and John wrote the book of 1 John in the canon.
Now would be a good time to pull the log out of your own eye and stop worrying about the speck you think you see in mine. You can start practicing brotherly love by ceasing from engaging in ad hominem and false accusations about my character.
I'm hoping you'll grow in true love which is 100% responsible and jettison the counterfeit of acceptance of wickedness as love.
Peace.
You have the right to feel and say how you feel and or believe, and thank you, you think I do not love, and so let it be.
We all are growing in grace, undeserved grace for each of us from God, which is absolutely amazing
Romans 5:6 When we were utterly helpless, with no way of escape,
Christ came at just the right time and
died for us sinners who had no
use
for him.
No matter whether one continues to sin or not, that fact remains the same, undeserved grace, I hope to not ever sin again and I can' ever predict any future. As a matter of fact a messenger of Satan comes along every time I think I am pure just as he is pure, or just as because of Christ I am pure, which is truth, the being pure by belief from God, but when I get cocky, arrogant, proud, and or boastful, the messenger is right there to buffet me, GOD"S grace is sufficient for me, you and all that belief.
God does the increase to each that belief that God has accepted. We are born again to love, God's way not condemn the world's way as in our own judgments of what is good or bad. Today it is much further beyond that.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Lesson our judgement of others. We never see the whole picture. Never.
there are 1,000 reasons a person can behave a particular way. We don't know what is going on in their movie that motivates them to act in that way. I never know how I'd behave if I were in the other shoes. Today little by little, it would be good to learn to be more forgiving. Learn to where we can come from a place of help, rather than Judgement.
Judgments are only based on what one sees, from their owns thoughts. From their own experiences. There is truly only one that knows all. that one would be and is the creator of all.
If one learns to listen to the creator as Jesus Christ revealed to all mankind. (Christ taught us, to do nothing or say nothing w/o Father's instruction first and foremost), we would make the right judgments, with out condemnation. ( coming from the one listening),much less likely
The ones that argued would reveal their true selves, as was done in the day of visitation from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Steer clear from arguments, seek the truth in all things and one shall be free from the world and it's traps.
Love you ageofknowledge
