This isn't the first time in history that wicked people said good things to get a following:
Acts 16:16-18 (KJV) [SUP]16 [/SUP]And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: [SUP]17 [/SUP]The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. [SUP]18 [/SUP]And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.
This girl was saying good things with a demon in her. Her "good words" didn't make her right. Her "good words" were no excuse to let her continue doing what she did. Paul cast the demon out of her by the leading of the Holy Spirit, proving that God doesn't approve of it or want us around it. He still doesn't.
