The promises were given before they were believed upon. Those (ethnic Jews) who believed, received the promises, and those who have not believed, still have the promises available to them, because the promises have not gone anywhere, but are placed on the shelf of mercy that can be reached by faith, marked, 'YEA & AMEN! The promises are even available into the second coming. Is that amazing or what? Still hope for those ethnic Jews after all, especially when they shall all see him and recognize him as the one they pierced, crucified and had his blood shed on that tree over 2,000 years ago.
Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Romans 11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
Romans 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
Romans 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
Romans 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

I don't see anything about Jew or ethnic Jew.

Paul was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin, as stated in verse 1. Understanding that there is a fundamental difference would help a lot of people in the topic.

Anybody, who dares to speak up, against a dangerous heresy is Anti-Semitic.I guess we would have to support, Zionism to not be Anti-Semitic.After all these are the covenanted people who reject Christ.God wants them to accept Christ no doubt, but I won't agree, with something that is very wrong.

Were you born a Christian? Was there not a time in your life when you "rejected" Christ?

The promises were given before they were believed upon.
uh...

Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.

Galatians 3:6
5So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? 6Even so Abraham BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS. 7Therefore, be sure that it is those who are of faith who are sons of Abraham.

John 1:29
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

John 2:11
What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

John 2:23
Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name.

John 6
68Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have words of eternal life. 69"We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God."

John 10
40And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was first baptizing, and He was staying there. 41Many came to Him and were saying, "While John performed no sign, yet everything John said about this man was true." 42Many believed in Him there

Mark 8:29
"But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?" Peter answered, "You are the Messiah."

Romans 4:25
He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

Hebrews 9:28
so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

1 Peter 1
Greeting
1Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ,

To those who are elect exiles of the dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and for sprinkling with his blood:

May grace and peace be multiplied to you.

Born Again to a Living Hope
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, 7so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, 9obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

10Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired carefully, 11inquiring what person or time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories. 12It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things that have now been announced to you through those who preached the good news to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look.

9But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

1 Peter 2:24
"He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."

1 Peter 2:25
For "you were like sheep going astray," but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Yeah, there was a time, and if I would not have turned to Christ I would be in big trouble one day.Anyway, how does that relate to the Talmud, being thrown in as well which is pagan based Baal garbage.Rejecting Christ is only one aspect of this whole thing.

ONE among those, BIG LIES is the Jewish people can reject Christ and still be redeemed. So the NT is wrong I don't think so!!!!!!!!!!:D
Name one person on this site that believes this. I haven't seen any believer claim that a person can be saved without Christ.

Be careful you don't bear false witness of others. Rather be sure of what a person believes before claiming they believe what they do not.

This is the thing with me, in Isaiah, it is shown that salvation was going to come to the Gentiles, with or without Jesus being rejected by his own people.

Isa 49:66 Indeed He says, 'It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel; I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.'"
The mystery that was not given in the Old Testament was that the Gentiles would be Co Heirs with the Children of Israel, and through Jesus Christ, we would be the spiritual seeds of Abraham. Now what is interesting is Jesus said that those who worship Him does so in SPIRIT and TRUTH, but a certain group of people are excluded from this?

Yeah, the OT has quite a bit to say,it does say a remnant, has been prepared so it never promises how many for one.A remnant is a piece a small portion from my understanding. In revelation it says I know the blasphemy of those that say they are Jews but are a synagogue of Satan.I't calls them liars, this has a lot to do with it all.

Some pages back you seem to also be addressing believers here.

Again, no believer on this site, that I have seen, believes there is any other way to be saved than through Christ. If you suggest otherwise then you're bearing false witness.

Do you respond the way you do just for the sake of being contrary? How can anyone believe upon a promise that has not already been given? The nature of a promise is to be given first and then believed upon and the one who gave it fulfills that promise through faith. Your 'uh' is more like 'duh'. BTW There will be a day when God will fulfill his promise to Israel and they will once again be his people who were lead astray and your unbelief in that promise will have no effect on God bringing that to past, because he had purpose that in himself. You can divorce yourself from that promise in unbelief if you choose, but it does not change the immutability of his nature, his counsel and promise to Israel. Even their own unbelief will not change what God is going to do for them when he turns away ungodliness from Jacob.
