I consider this place a kick at the bucket, a punch to a wall, a temper tantrum of nonsense that will always fill our heads because we have this habit of lacking the faith that this next second in our moment of existence is useless not only for us but for others or this plan we have may be so important yet no one understands... regardless I post this because I am in agreement that I needed to post this to say exactly how I felt to my head that its useless for me to consider itself important without Christ. I will write because it will relax me except I will not write and consider my thoughts important whatsoever. God willing all will be as I pray and hope. Thank You Lord for giving me this peace.

Ummm..dude...lol I'd say about up until 7 yrs ago I had pretty much everything Star Wars there was to have...I used to make & design custom action figures of SW characters & sell 'em on ebay for like $50- $100 a pop. I had all the books,trading cards,figures...you name it lol Sold it all waaaaaaay back while I was married to help pay for out doggie vet bills & other random expenses. It just got to be too much,along with all the other nonsense I liked to collect. Funny thing is,I really don't miss any of it. I still have a ton of the audio books on MP3 & a few little things here & there I never managed to sell. One cool thing I still have that my ex-wife gave me...She went back to visit her family once when we were married & came back with quite the awesome Birthday gift. She got me a signed personalized pic of Kenny Baker & his business card with like his cell phone,office & home phone number on it. She'd met him before many times because her best friends father used to play music with him & he was always over at their house hanging out. He's like a friend of the family/member type deal,'cause they all grew up with him hangin' around at the house. I've got the pic framed & packed away..I'll have to dig it out & post a pic of it. But umm..yeah...I pretty much gave up collecting stuff ages ago. If I had had kids,I'd have just given it to them to sell when I kicked the bucket. lol

I have all my stuff including toys stored away for whenever my daughter has kids. She never had the interest when she was little, so all of the toys from my childhood along those bought during hers are all waiting for the next generation. I'm sorry to hear you had to sell yours. For me, the collecting was much more fun than actually having it. The searching for old toys that I had wanted as a kid but never got. I recently was looking at a Kenner website that had pictures of all of their Star Wars toys. Man, did that bring back memories. Looking through the Sears Christmas catalog, it was called the Dream Book for a good reason.
Back on the books. I swear I remember that the original complete story for Star Wars that George Lucas wrote was published in a book and contained all nine episodes' worth of material. Isn't that the story? George had to take only a small part of the larger one to make the first Star Wars?

Yes,originally George was to make 9 parts,and he only had enough to do the middle part 4-6. Trust me,he's changed his story over the years to suit his greed.(aka - creative license) lol I used to subscribe to Bantha Tracks when I was a little kid & I remember all those interviews. Personally,if it weren't for the people at Dark Horse comics coming up with the whole Dark Empire story line I think Star Wars would have never gotten the jump start that it did...years after that came the Timothy Zahn novels & that's what got the ball rolling for George to think about episodes 1-3.

After the past week of too-late nights and incoherent ramblings on here, you'd think I'd have learned something and got myself to sleep earlier than...now. Whatever time it is. Almost 2 a.m. I meant to go to bed an hour ago, but my son fell out of bed again. It's sort of funny, really...I hear a THUMP, and then some crying, and I go in and ask if he's ok, and he says, "I bonked the floor again, mama." So I get him a drink and put him back to bed.
I should probably NOT laugh at him.

I never "bonked" the floor as a child,but I did as an adult about a yr ago & holy cow...that hurt. No one asked if I was or or gave me a drink & tucked me back into bed. I actually thought I might have broken my jaw my face hit the floor so hard.
Sleep eludes me as well. I've already scanned the jobs for Maine & nothing new to apply for yet today. *sigh*
Oh right,it's "Columbus day" today...so trash won't be picked up til tomorrow. I am not anti-American by any stretch,but I just don't get silly "holiday's" like this. We all know Columbus so did not discover America,and yet we still pretend like he did.
Is this liken to how we know the truth of God's word,yet ignore it & do things in our lives or hold on to ritual & habit because it's more comfortable to remain zombified in a lie than awake & living in the truth????
Maybe I should go back to bed.

I had a niece that fell out of bed a lot when she was a baby. In her case though, I know why. She had a big head. It was a giant noggin, I mean enormous. It was really like a regular adult sized head honestly. We had to put regular size pillows in the crib with her. Poor little thing. Couldn't find a hat for her either. Most kids hat said something cute like 'it's a boy or 'it's a girl. Her's sad NASCAR. She's kinda growing into it now. It still flops around a little though.

*grabs soapbox...clears throat* Well...lol ummm...I'm not down with the whole "native american" thing. I sort of find that offensive really. Before we got here it was Indians & Mexicans...that was pretty much what all this land was comprised of,as far as people groups (to my knowledge). I think SD is on the right track with the name change. lol I remember once when I was in like 4th grade & we learned how actually Leif Ericson was actually the first European to hit North America,something like 500 yrs before good 'ol Christopher & I questioned my teacher as to why then are we told that Columbus "discovered" America,why not have Leif Ericson Day instead? She got really upset with me 'cause I wouldn't drop it & ended up sending a note home to my Mom telling her that I disrupt the class by being argumentative. lol I have no idea where she'd get that idea from...I'm so easy going & like a wee wallflower all dainty & such.

Go to bed, they said... you won't feel tired tomorrow when you go to bed on time, they said....now it's 8:39, I'm dead tired, and it's because last night I had nightmares most of the night. Intense ones. I tossed and turned and just did not sleep well at all. I wish I could go back to not remembering my dreams at all. It was better that way. I didn't ask to start having nightmares again.

Not quite. Most Mexicans have a fair amount of Spanish blood. The Mexica would have been there with the Indians, but the Mexicans not as much.
