Yes!!! you think like me! I always make myself look up from the ugly human creation ( skyscrapers, cars, concrete) to God's original creation, and believe me, I never get disappointed :)

I love these flowers..........because I see angels in each bloom.........(yes, I know, they aren't really angles....)

Pictures of pretty things don't prove a god. I could post pictures of ugly things; would that be evidence against God?

I can find pictures of hyenas eating out of the butts of elephants... what does that say about God?

It proves that even the ugliest, most disgusting, hateful, evil things have a purpose.

Rom 1v20: For ever since the creation of the world His invisible nature and attributes, that is, His eternal power and divinity, have been made intelligible and clearly discernible in and through the things that have been made (His handiworks). So [men] are without excuse [altogether without any defense or justification]...(AMP)

More evidence that what which was once a paradise has been cursed by sin because of mankind's rebellion against its Creator God.

and, for those who don't believe in God, the hyenas would be their ancestors yes? Or the elephants..........there's something to aspire to eh? :)

Nope, neither hyenas nor elephants are ancestral to human beings. Our common ancestor with both would have been pretty much rodent like, if I understand correctly.

yeah, it was a tongue in cheek comment to one who denies God......... :) I am aware of the false theory of evolution.......just thought a hyena would serve to symbolize those who deny God. Although, on reflection, it may not be fair to hyenas...... :)

More of a shrew like animal; as the majority of shrews are much more basal. Rodents are far too specialized.

Well, I was just following your lead there............... :)
I'm pretty sure what I said was at the very least coherent. nw2u and Tintin were sufficient rebuttal, but not without its own consequences. It is a Christian site so I won't go into it in detail. Just wanted to say that pretty stuff appearing in nature doesn't hint at the existence of a god, much less a specific one; just like pictures of disgusting things do not point towards the idea of a god not existing.

Demonstrates the limits of my knowledge, as I could not have told you there was any difference between "shrew-like" and "rodent-like". Thanks for the clarification.
