lol no worries, I'm quite content to be ignored by someone like him. he violated my right for a safe chat by calling me a name noone ever has any right calling me. therefore, I am fine with him on his little corner of CC and i on mine.

Woooo, another tinklin match about how Christian Metal is bad for you. But why it had to come into a thread that's been very peaceful is beyond me.

If you must do it, why don't you do it in a separate thread. I would debate you on it willingly, but doing it in the middle of an (as much as you might argue otherwise) unrelated thread is disrespectful. Just accept that there are Christians who listen to metal, and that there is a thread where they post some of it they have enjoyed. If you disagree with it theologically, then post a thread about it in the music forum and we will have an iron sharpens iron discussion about it.

And placing people on ignore is just juvenile. The only time I've ever done that on a Christian forum was when someone advocated extremely unbiblical doctrine related to adultery. As much as some may not like it, scripture related to what music is Christian or not is open to interpretation; adultery no, not at all open to interpretation as it's been nailed down concretely.

So let's not go there with the ignore thing. It's just silly like children fighting.

then in their next post declares that "people like [me]" will be damned,
that person doesn't seem to "get it".
I don't want to talk or listen to that person.

Admit it, you didn't post your favorite Christian Metal band, you posted a link to a band with a lead singer who engaged in immoral conduct to try and drive home your point in a juvenile manner. You then proceeded to pepper the thread with argumentative posts, and then you placed people on ignore like a two year old when they got upset with you. If you don't think God cares about the method of delivery but only the content, then please reconsider. We are commanded to love one another. We are also commanded that love suffers long. Patience is a spiritual gift from Christ, and we should use it with one another.

We can count on Zman giving you a like for that one haha. He's a big fan of them if i remember correctly. I'm not big on the power metal stuff myself, though that song was pretty good. Also, i believe they are working on a new album. Or have they released one recently. I know a while back ago the singer was talking about it.
