Well... if the title of the thread had an honest title then I would have written wonderful things about Jewish Family Services of Los Angeles. I used to go to SMART Recovery meetings when I was first getting sober and the place was a lifesaver for me personally. They have all kinds of services for everyone not just Jewish people. My support? Of course I'll be making a donation this Christmas! Jewish Family Services is a major force for good in my city.

But the thread is about supporting Israel, not my local Jews.

No, it was focusing more on Babel. The worker in the office was reminiscing about how his ancestors had told stories about a world wide flood, says to himself it must be a story made up because it couldn't possibly be true, and then goes on and thinks about some events in his cubicle just before the tower falls. I think the tower falls as he's walking to his car. Should have made him turn around and become a pillar of salt.
