So my date asked me to make him a sandwich, but I don't know which way to cut it!
Would diagonal be too bold?
What if he likes it straight down the middle?
Would cutting it into 4 be trying too hard?
What if he hates crust?
Should I just make an assortment of cuts?
Serious answers only please!

Simply ask if he would like them cut diagonally or straight down the middle and if he would prefer if you chopped the crust off before serving it to him. Problem solved sis

Ask him and see how he likes his sandwiches?

I've never met a man who doesn't like his sandwiches cut diagonally.

There's always the option of cutting it into finger sandwiches. I doubt he would like this, however, because men seem to eat only messy sandwiches. It seems to make them feel more manly.

I can sympathize with you, Emily. I've run into this problem as well and panicked. I didn't even slice the sandwich! The result was disastrous. A year later we broke up. He said it was because I was too into God, but I know the real reason.

It was that sandwich.

Thank you for understanding, Duchess. I just don't want to lose him. He deserves a good sandwich cut to fit his hand, but I just don't know if I can do it :(

I believe in you, Emily! Have you sought counsel from YouTube? So many good and wonderful people post vids on there about sandwiches. I'd give it a try.

I'm praying for you.

Try making a trade. Tell him you will never nag at him for leaving the toilet seat up as long as you don't have to make any sandwiches......Any reasonable man would agree to those terms

What if I like making him sandwiches and don't care about the position of the toilet seat? I mean- he has to lift it up when he goes in, why should it bother me to put it down when I go on?

Then he is a very lucky man......lol. You have officially outclassed 90% of the competition already

Cut in half, eat the good middle parts, leave the crusts (unless I am ridiculously hungry). Who like dry hard bread edges with no jam/peanut butter/cheese, etc on them?! Its just madness!

(also, eating crusts hurts my gums :( )

You don't cut a sandwich unless it's a foot-long sub.

GRA is right. I'm sure the poor guy has probably moved on from sandwiches and is now wanting you to order a pizza. No problemo!!

Except... Does he like it cut into 4, 6, or 8 slices.

D'OH!!!
