Revelation 13:17 (KJV)
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
It is interesting to note that according to this verse people will not be permitted to buy or sell except they have the Mark of the Beast, OR the name of the beast, OR the number of his name. So, according to this then, to not buy or sell we need only have the name of the beast or merely have the number of his name without even having the mark of the beast.
So you equate all three to Sabbath Keeping?
That's Danchances term for a Sabbath keeper.

What is blasphemy according to the Bible?
1. Claiming to be God
2. Claiming to be able to forgive sins

Ok. Sorry. Then you are not using mostly Paul. I apologize. Omit that from my post. I said it because all i have been doing these past three days is responding to replies here. And because arguments here are getting the same, its kinda like i have memorized to reply what i reply. Next time, i will pay much more attention. Forgive me on this one. Good night.
Well, frankly, they are the same arguments over and over. You yourself have stated that you are not a 7th Day Adventist and yet you seem to be supporting the idea that the Mark of the beast may in fact be about the Sunday laws. I have stated that I am not a 7th day Adventist either. And yet the attack on this concept always comes back around as an attack on the 7th Day Adventists. I don't get why anyone's supposed to take that kind of an attack seriously. Obviously there are groups that believe other groups are cults. So what? Again and again, this is about the line of thinking as compared to scriptures represented, not about personal opinions concerning denominational differences.

Well, I sure hate to see people wrongfully attacked. Honestly. By the way, it's really not my denomination. lol. I guess it may seem like it is, but it's not. I've just seen so many accusations on this site made against different denominations since I joined, and the main one seems to be the 7th day Adventists, and it mainly seems to be about the sabbath issue. Also, I guess my biggest beef is that that accusers think they can shoot down the sabbath belief based on their accusations that the 7thdayers are a cult. Bad reasoning all around.

That is true. It always seems to be about the sabbath. Probably because the SDA is the largest protestant denomination and more known.

Oh so your saying that I attacked you personally. well if thats what you think. Sister I defend the word of God as best I can. No I am not the authority. But, when I see deviate I get up in arms. just as you do. We do agree that Christ is our only answer and hope. Is that true?

Yes. I'm sure that's true. It's also because apparently the 7th day Adventists believe differently on 2 or 3 issues than other denominations, which open them up to attack. But from what I've read on this site as well as in other places, they believe in God, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; they believe we're saved by grace and not works, though works prove our faith. So in most every important way, they believe what Christ said was necessary for salvation. As far as having different doctrines goes, there's a ton of denominations I disagree with some of their doctrines. I can't imagine coming on here and creating threads so I can trash them because I've determined I'm an authority and need to expose them to the world. lol.

I wasn't directing my reason for defending at you. I did get angry at your statement that your aunt or your wife's aunt as a 7th day adventist believed she had to earn her salvation through works, hence, you were sure that's how 7th dayers believe. This was not a true statement. Now I don't know this woman, but if she does believe that, that's her problem. That problem occurs with lots of people, certainly not just people that keep the 7th day as sabbath.

Absolutely. It should only be about the study, period. Let's face it though; when people attack for whatever reason, calling the other guy deceived, confused, part of a cult church, or heretical, that's an attack that has nothing to do with the argument, yet it throws off the whole study. I'm sure that's the reason for it.

Yes. I agree. "If you love Me, keep My commandments." So obviously if we don't love Him, we won't. So where does that leave us in the salvation department? I'd think the answer would be obvious.
