Favorite things

I'm sure this thread has been made before. Oh well!

Tell me a few of your favorite things in life. I'll start.


I am currently brewing some peach iced tea. It's wonderful and full of caffeine!
I love a good book.
Iced coffee.
Laughing until my sides hurt.
The beach.
Aquariums.
Penguins.

I like coffee in the mornings
I like reading the Sunday paper
e-mail from my little sister
Lounging on the porch in the shade
Cruising down residential streets on Sundays

Raindrops on roses

and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles

and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings...

OK - I'll give a REAL answer this time!

The smell of coffee brewing.
Playing cards with my daughter.
Working on music projects.
Cooking for friends.
The ocean.
Dark chocolate.
My sheepskin slippers during the dead of winter.
Lazy Saturday mornings.
Making chai and having the whole place smell of cardamom.
Watching my daughters grow spiritually.
Camping in the redwoods.
Getting lost in a good book.
Cheesecake.

Favorite things in my life:

1. Worship moment at church
2. Yellow tulips
3. Green tea milkshake
4. Classical piano instruments (Cartel Burwell, Yiruma & Ludovico Einaudi are my favorite composers)
5. Long holiday with my man. Have a walk out, look for cheap stuff & make our own meals together
6. Chill out with my male friends. Laugh out loud, discuss about family and relationship issues with them
7. Back massage
