Prayers up this morning for all my peeps.

Didn't do much online Sunday because I got too bust to sleep Saturday night. A single day should not span more than one rotation of the planet, but quite frankly, I don't feel that worse for wear... I'd gotten up Saturday about 9, went to bed about midnight Sunday. Funny part is, I know that if I still did the caffeine thing I'd be all messed up on coffee to compensate, but as it is, I feel fine.

I'll let you know if that changes & I do something stupid, like fall asleep driving.

Radio just went from Lecrae to Chris Tomlin. :D
Today has the makings of being A Good Day.
 
Brother Seatbelt, good morning! It Is a beautiful day with buckets of rain. On my way to the car I was completely soaked! I love the rain though.
 
Ok so the chicken didn't turn out bad after all! :) I was stupid for trusting the internet instructions that said to grill it on medium for 5-10 minutes to sear the skin and then put it on low heat (gas grill) and leave it covered and undisturbed for 20-30 minutes.

Well, around the 7 minute mark my sister pointed out to me that there were 8 inch flames shooting out the back of the grill! I opened the cover to find Dante's inferno going full blast inside and all of the little chicken parts basking in the middle of the flames. I almost burned my arm trying to get them out of there. The skins were burnt black on half of the pieces but other than that, they turned out great! lol :)

Amendment to internet instructions. Don't leave the grill unattended. lol.

This is my second wake-up attempt. It seems to be going better than the first, during which I sat down on the couch and promptly fell back asleep.
 
This is my second also. I think this one is going to work. My other one was more of a had to go to the bathroom and I'm up kind of thing.

If I would have known ahead of time I would have given said something. lol. I dislike it when I am entertaining a few guests and I get side tracked trying to do something else and the grill flares up. Chicken really isn't that difficult, like iTORE said he cooks his. I have never done that and mine comes out great.
 
The only way I can cook chicken is in a crock pot :/

I haven't tried the suggestion that was made to me here about using the BBQ sauce and baking it. Every time my mother-in-law comes up, my entire meal plan gets hi-jacked and we end up eating pizza or steak.

You say pizza and steak like it's bad or something. lol. I had steak last night it was wonderful.
