I don't think he got down on one knee, Jilly.

*get's down on one knee* You do realize that this is how a man proposes for marriage, right? lol not usually the case for dating...but then again...you are not the typical woman,so I can accept that.
...will you be my girlfriend...date me...however it is people label it...will you be a part of my life deeper than ever & walk with me growing in the love of God & each other? ♥........

I didn't want to derail the PDA thread, so here I am posting my thoughts.
Feel free to derail away afterwards.

It bothers me that there are people who seem to have an issue with the flirtation, sparring,
joking, goofing around that myself and another member have been doing on CC, yet have not
once pm'd me with their concerns. Why do people I consider my friends not feel comfortable
enough to pm myself or the other member and say that certain things make them uncomfortable?

Today I posted about Tore getting down on one knee and asking me to date him. While that was
a serious/joking post it was met with joking from other members and I enjoyed that. I have noticed
that some people such as Shouryu and Catherder, who do not know me in any way, do not seem to
be offended by the consistent joking and can instead form their own jokes regarding the silliness of two
adults acting like teenagers. The people who do know me and Tore well enough to understand our
quirkiness are the ones who seem to be offended/bothered by the craziness. Why is that? Why is it
wrong for a man to express himself among his family about his feelings for a woman? My parents aren't
ashamed to walk up to each other and give the other a quick kiss and say I love you. This post though
isn't about an argument of what you or I think is alright to post in the forum but about people not giving\
Tore or myself the respect to say what they think in a pm box. The funny thing about it is at least 4 people
have pm'd Tore and asked questions but never once did one of them say hey dude this is how I see things.
We respect our friends and value their thoughts and feelings even in such a matter as how we might be
perceived on CC. I respect myself too much to make a fool of myself even in a joking matter. Why not
give us the benefit of changing what for some could be an uncomfortable situation if it was found to be so?

Are you sure that was even directed at you? I mean it's not like you and Tore are the only people that joke around on here.

A banana for fat Gillians
Calling yourself fat when you're not fat is a punishable offense...

Lucky for you that I'm all out of creative punishment ideas for people half way across the world. Or you'd be DOOMED...!
