I'm THIS. CLOSE. to being done painting the ugly metal wheel contraption gate thingamajig!
...I've also painted some by the back gate/driveway area. If ever I finish this on-going project, I'll post pictures so's y'all can laugh at me for my color choices.

Ugh..I am still sitting here...I got distracted going through this drawer of junk with all power cords & electronic stuff I just don't use...an old cell phone...why do I have all this stuff???? anyways....yeah wasps don't like to be painted. I used to do a lot of painting of houses when I was a spry 17 yr old & ummm yeah..when yer' on a 3 story ladder & you shoo a wasp away with yer' paint brush,it's best to make sure it's loaded down with paint,so they can't fly back at you,'cause if they do...it's yer' buns! Uh,also another good tip...throwing rocks at their nest,while may be fun...not really recommended.

On Aimee's strategy long range weapon thing. I see her as one who would do something like that move where the guy used a sniper rifle that shot an ice projectile that just melted away once it entered the body. wicked. My son is doing the weapon thing. I don't understand it but he took the toilette paper roll rod thing with the spring in it. Then taped a small pocket knife to the one end and was like, "look, it's a projectile shank!"
I am so BORED!!!
Seriously! I thought summer break was supposed to be relaxing. It's hard to relax when I'm sitting here with absolutely nothing to do. This has been virtually perpetual since I got home from college. My main hobbies don't interest me anymore and there's nothing to replace them. If I'm not at my summer job (which is part-time work) I am sitting here at home doing nothing, just checking the same websites every five minutes to see if anything interesting has happened. I guess I'm just going to be in a "season of boredom" in my life until college starts back up.
