1. I'm a little jealous that Rachel is somewhere that isn't currently 100+ degrees.

It's currently 66F here right now. My kind of weather. :) I strongly dislike the heat, for various reasons.

My sister is here and she likes the heat, and she just got back from a trip to Mexico with her husband, so she thinks it is freezing here. :P

I'd personally rather take an Alaskan cruise than a Bahama cruise. I want to see the northern lights, polar bears, glaciers, the cold, etc. Actually, a cruise isn't high on my list; too many people, too big of a boat. But if I had to choose, then I'd go for the non-Bahama one.

I once had a humble little cotton ball give me the finger because I cut past him in the 10 Items or Less aisle by accident, then ended up with 14 items in my basket. Man that little guy was ticked off.

Rachel- 66 degrees!!! And rain! Definitely jealous. I'm with you on the cruise thing, though- it's kinda funny, because most of the people who know me think I'm weird for not enjoying summer heat. Bleh, it just makes me sick.

Dying- I can't give up the Secret of the Cotton Ball! I'd be breaking a sacred trust...but...if the day ever comes when a cotton ball could save your life, you'll know.

Tore- That...wow. Wow. LOL

I think yer' Alaskan cruise sounds awesome! I tried for years to get my ex-wife to go on a cruise & she wanted nothing to do with it. I was like, but we can re-enact the scene from Titanic,I can be Leo & you can be Kate...just think honey, you can throw me in the frozen North Atlantic & watch me drown & call out.."Jack!...Jaaaaaaaack!...Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaackkkkkk!"

There have been a couple of times where I came across that show 1,000 ways to die. I'm always amazed on how this goes down. So I feel like misscris's secret would be like that show in reverse with cotton balls. 1,000 ways to not die with a cotton ball.

Don't know who you were asking and don't care because I'm a selfish jerk and only think of myself, but for the record....

Why is it that all the evidence seems to point to the opposite on this?

oh, wrong thread.

buns.

The place in Mexico where I did some spring break mission work was up in the Sierra Madres. It was not culturally appropriate to wear shorts or tank tops, but at night it was smart to have a fleece or a hoodie. I'd like to go again when the kids are just a little older. No running water. Electricity came to the valley (in a limited way) between my first and second trips. Not many cars on the dirt roads. Lots of love for God in the people. It was during my lifetime that the Christian converts went from house to house, removing the household idols from believers and non believers alike. Nowadays Christ rules supreme in this place.

I have a lenghty PM from a friend... I'm not ignoring you, I'm just focusing on that... :)
