LOL..nah bro..while I do enjoy both of the above,I happen to reside here in Maine. Actually about an hour & 1/2 from Mr. King & his family.

Very untrue. Yet another huuuuge misconception about Maine. Before here I lived in upstate NY,and they get tons of snow there...winder ends like in April. The only places in Maine that get consistent snow is the top of the mountains & way up by the border of Canada. I've lived here 9 yrs & we've only had 3 bad winters,all over with by March at the very latest.
 
The Stand is brilliant. I've only read several others but they ranged from mediocre to average to very good. Loved The Langoliers too (not the TV movie though - awful!)

Yes, it was an Israeli guy! He actually got a little too close for my comfort: standing close, picking up my necklace to admire it (I think he was just buttering me up). I mean, he was nice and he wasn't trying to make me uncomfortable, he just went past my personal space bubble and didn't know it.

I just did the whole kit on my nails just now, and I do feel like it worked. Made my hands look pwetty. :)

I agree,I don't like all of King's stuff...but he does have some awesome reads. I love Clive Barker..Anne Rice,Poppy Z Brite...Chelsea Cain...ohh I could go on.LOL

I am such a mutt. I am actually a large percent Norwegian my Grandma on my dads side who I never met was full blooded. She was born there and my grandpa who I never met was like half and also german. Then my moms side is Irish, Scottish and Welsch with some black foot indian.
