I've got 4 pm's going + an email that i need an address for... multitasking is soooooo fun?
 
Well,...yeah that was kind of a dumb thing to say. lol. With a double bass pedal you can kick with either foot. I guess I said that cause you usually set up the toms in reverse. I thought maybe left handed players would reverse the kick and snare as well?

Look at TED KIRKPATRICK's kit from Tourniquet,he's a lefty..my kit would be set up the same way...highest top to lowest floor drumroll would be from right descending left downward.

got it dude. lol. Do you cross over when you play the hats? or can you alternate your left to hat and right to snare?

the answer is obvious... hit dollar tree and pick up a new & exciting one.
my daughter has 25 colors for approximately this reason.

I normally use 1 hat...but if I ever get another kit I'll put a slightly open hat by my ride,only rarely using the footpedal.
 
Cool, those hydraulic double high hats are awesome where you can put a hat on both sides and control it with the one foot pedal.

That's what I used to do, when I was part of civilization :p

Bit more expensive/difficult when the round trip is 60 miles. Ah, well. I got a color called Gun Metal, I like that one.

Hurray! Problem solved!
 
Cris, what kind of car you got? Mine gets 40 miles to the gallon on the highway so gas isn't such a problem.
 
You should see me though. I'm just a hair under 6 foot 2 inches and I am heavy. But on top of that, I have a big frame really wide shoulders and a huge head. I'm built like a block. So when I cram into my 2 door Honda Civic, well it's not bad if there is only a passenger in the car cause I put the seat all the way back. If someone is behind me though and I have to move the seat up I look like I'm driving a go kart. lol. But I love the mileage.

I used to have one called Gun Metal! I gave it to a friend, though, because I tried it and it just didn't look right on me. My favorite color to wear is a lilac color I have, looks good with my skintone and it helps that it's one of my favorite colors. :)

On a nail-related note, my sister and I went to the Mall of America last weekend for our birthday. I got sucked into one of those kiosk/mini-stores they have in the middle of the walkway. He asked if I wanted a sample and I said yes, then he asked me about my nails, and then I got sucked into having an example done on one of them, and it made it SO SHINY, and so...I bought the stuff. My sister just had to roll her eyes at me, "Rachel...you just gotta say no to them."

I'm such an easy sell, sometimes. I dislike that about myself.

Seriously... you post pix of your yard and there's like.... peoples houses and stuff across the street. what gives? how is it there is so much civilization for not living in civilization? Do you live in a cult compound, Cris? :p
