I miss my purple hair. I should do that again, it's not like I have a boss who would fire me over it or anything.

I worked for a grocery store once upon a time that required me to either not wear my nose ring, or put a band-aid over it. Because having a little round band-aid on the side of your nose is apparently less distracting than a tiny little silver star or fake diamond stud?
 
Aimee, you should go for it with your hair. :) I had blue streaks put in about a year ago. I had darker red streaks put into the back of mine a few months ago. :)

I feel an avatar change coming on...

MissCris, I had to put band aids over my lip and my ear lobes when I went through nursing school. Luckily my septum was gauged out to the point of not ever closing so that was cool. But unfortunately my labret was gauged out to a 2 gauge and so I would totally drool all over myself if I had nothing in there. So yeah, like people don't notice these band aids. Crazy.

I liked your purple hair from what I've seen of it. I typically don't like those kind of bright colors in people's hair (like tomato red, bright bright blue hot pink), but you pull it off nicely!

I can't wait to see this. I am entertained by these avatars. So far I've seen the eyes one that reminds me of the cover of midnight madness and beyond by G.B.H. then there is the thoughtful reading a book one. Then there was the outdoors in the desert looking one. Then the batgirl one and the fairy one and the...I can't remember them all. lol. You and tore have a closet full of them though.

These are the blue streaks, but they look purple in the pic. They were supposed to be Peyton Manning Colts blue...now I guess it would be Broncos blue, huh? :)

I like Cris' streaks too :)

It was in regards to Donkeyfish's comment. That derailing a derailment thread actually wouldn't be derailing, it'd be staying on topic since the topic is about derailing.

Confusing...yet it makes sense!

Can someone bust out the clippers and give me a little more fade to my fade? Summer is almost here, but I want to wait about getting the high & tight until after the next family court session on the 19th...
***btw, pls pray that this time DHS flip flops back to what they had previously said was the resolution for their investigation & provides document to this effect. If they were to do that, then there would be little to no question left in the judges mind as to how custody & visitation would go, plus I would be exonerated of being the jerk that I was alleged to be. this last one is Just The Sprinkles on the Sunday... I totally could care less as long as the kids get the arrangements that they need to be safe, etc. It grieves me that she has the kids at this moment after what she did (the DHS investigation stuff, not the abandoning your family to go seek temporary happiness in ungodly ways stuff).
 
I'm way behind on reading this thread.... I decided to start at the End and read back to where I was... but now I'm lost in the middle, cause it keeps growing.... <sigh> why oh why must I sleep? lolers.

lol... ya know DED, (other than Blain) i think Pow is the only CC'er closer to me than you... lol, we might hafta find some time to get together... but why waste that time cuttin my hair. :D Though I do suspect you'd do a pru good job of it. in my experience punks who cut hair, cut it well.
 
Well, yeah. lol. And I would be down. Anyone who loves God and likes to spin vinyl and has an old electric drum set. Sounds like fun. I will make up a keg of home made root beer and bring some jerky. Not that we can drink 5 gallons of root beer, it's just that I don't have any smaller than that. lol.
