I'm not sure where the idea is that I am trying to be anyone but me with the name change. I'm me whether I'm on this name or the other. I'm only trying to be more open which is what my name symbolizes. If people read my post on streams then maybe it'd make more sense.
Everyone is not happy with me. There are people who don't like me or don't truly know who I am in order to like me. The only conclusion I can come up with to stay sane is to just not give a crap. It's exhausting to be codependent and care what everyone thinks. I need to find my own homeostasis. You either like me and want me in your life, or you don't. It's rather freeing to not put so much stock in whether or not someone approves of you.

Having just read your post in streams, I don't think you're trying to be a big faker. If you want a new name for a way to mark your new beginning, do it!
i thought maybe you changed your name because you had a creeper making you uncomfortable.

So I'm sitting outside at the Queen Bean (a local coffee shop) and some guy started his car. Well, tried to over and over making an awful noise. Finally it started and I almost yelled at him, "you need to get your starter looked at!" But I didn't because I'm a lady.
