My friends do help me coax myself out of my hole from time to time, but it's hard to not cling to something familiar for security.

Ansel Adams is my favorite photographer and sort of my idol, and so is Henri Cartier-Bresson.
 
I took both of these pictures when I was in South Dakota last summer. The first one is of the cross up on the hill of the ministry I worked for, the second was also taken on the grounds of the place I worked. The clouds were SO huge, and awesome and wonderful, with the distant Badlands hills on the horizon. My cell phone really didn't do justice in taking the picture, but rarely do photographs fully capture the wonder that is God's handiwork.

ETA: I cheated and DID use words. Whoops. :)
