the quenching of the fire I seek
like throwing gasoline to the flame
watching them devour the frame
everything we've ever painted
everything that's ever tainted
a picture perfect symphony
wounded by infected disease
cauterized to see no end
and festering with no mend
everything that's ever tainted
erasing all hope they've painted
now when I find my feet astray
I look away to reach its heel
to fight until my dying breath
to seethe until my lungs collapse
everything we've ever painted
deceived by lies we have been baited
free this thorn digging in my side
wipe tears from these weary eyes
press on and find an end to this
accelerated to eternal bliss
everything we've ever painted
everything that's ever tainted
 
Oh yes! Your speaking my language. I dig this on a level past understanding it. I dig the way it's laid down. Is this a new song your doing perhaps?

Ummm...it's a poem? Haha. Maybe if I had a band it would be, but I really can't do vocals anymore. And I can play bass, but nobody around here is interested in jamming with me :(

I have people around here wanting to jam with me. They are people I don't want to jam with though and they like what I play musically not what I am about so it won't work out. I can play bass a bit but I don't have one. I can play drums but I'm in an apartment and my kit is in storage. I play my guitar through a direct box. Use a drum machine. I have thought of the concept of getting someone to use the same multi track program and emailing the files. Then someone could lay things down on some of the tracks I've been doing with drum machine and my guitar.

I would totally do that if I could. I really want to get a drum machine, I saw one that had a memory bank and you could record on. I don't think the digi drums would be to hard for me to get down, but I can't play guitar to save my life. But yeah, I had the same thought as you, I just need a computer that will be able to handle it.
 
I use it on a laptop. It doesn't take too much. The multi track that is. I don't know about the drum machine program. I have a pretty good laptop though.

Ha, I can play guitar, but I could be anywhere from 6 to 12 hours away from you. :p
