I do not care what you have to say on the matter. I have made my peace with God, and my relationships are between Him, me, and whoever I choose to have a relationship with.

In other words, it has nothing to do with you :)

Live and let live. Judge not and be not judged.

No. You have peace with a god. Who gives you emotions, and makes you feel comfortable. How do I know? Because your views contradict His Word. The Bible says there will be a great falling away in the end times, from Christianity. There are those who see reality for what it is. Knowing God means suffering. And there are those who believe that knowing God should mean you have a nice, peaceful life. You are on your way to destruction, because you are going to die. Jesus said we are to die, every day. Are you?

Jacobthewolf, first off, these things you are quoting were not said to you. Do not try to push into the conversation I was having with other people earlier.

Second off, I do not believe like you do. I don't want to fight or debate about it. I believe how I believe. What you say will not change what I think. My trust lays in God, who has lead me to my decisions after much prayer and study.

I believe differently than you, that is all there is to say on the matter.

It is not your place to point out if I am wrong or right. That privilege belongs only to Him.
No. You believe something that is opposed to God's word. Have you not read it?

Who are you to question my faith? I believe differently from you, that is all there is to say.
Instruction manual: Put car in D to drive. Putting car in R will result in disaster.

Meerkat: "I am putting it in R to drive."

Georgiana: "You're doing it wrong. The manual says to put it in D. It says so right here: 'Put car in D to drive.'"

Meerkat: "How dare you! I feel as if I am better off in R!"

The insanity of claiming to have read and abide by the manual, yet diametrically opposing it never ceases to amaze me.

Jacobthewolf, none of these things were said to you. Do you have to try this hard to stir drama?

Its interesting how you immediately make that leap.
It's interesting how little very little left there is to leap to make the connections.

Like sex week 2013 at yale.

As I have said again and again, we believe differently. Please move on. I was here to express my feelings to the OP.
The OP is posting on a Christian forum.

Christianity is based on biblical beliefs. Not feelings. (It says this in our Holy Book, the Bible.)

You are not following the manual, and therefore your faith is in question (On a forum for people who follow the manual. it even says it in the name.)

You are stating a belief system, that according to the Manual WILL result in destruction.

Therefore, you are steering the OP wrong.

Therefore, people who DO follow the manual, are calling you out on it.

Do not be upset. If you were to go to a Muslim forum and claim, "Mohammed was not Allah's prophet!" You would get a similar response. Because it says in their holy book, that it is so.

So why, pray tell, are you expecting different results for the same thing on THIS forum?

You are literally going back through this entire thread and replying to conversation that had nothing to do with you.

No. You are in grave error. You are stating your grave error as fact. You are literally calling my Holy Book a lie. What do you want me to do? Nod in silence?

I don't want you to do anything.

Well, maybe stop posting a million times when you could just use one multiquote, but otherwise nothing.

Hello, I am a liberal Christian, nice to meet you.

I am not ignoring facts. I believe that the Bible was the word of God, but was written by human hands and thus is not entirely accurate. I believe that there is much truth in it, but that there is also much error.

I have a different belief than you. I feel it is equally valid. I have spent many years reading the Bible, along with praying and talking to God, and He has lead me to this decision.

Please do not insinuate that I am wrong because of what I believe.

If you disagree, please act as if I do not exist and continue with your day.
So you are now directly calling my Holy Book a lie? Which parts? Can I now rebuke you?

Its interesting to see people publicly condemn homosexual Christians as being averse to the bibles teachings yet remain silent on their own moral failures.
If you have no understanding of the Christian Holy Book, why are you on this forum saying such things?

Read our Holy Book, and then come back and argue with us. When you are honest with us and yourself about what our Holy Book says about homosexuality, I will do my best to answer you.

I don't... Understand how you cannot. Did you read what he said? Did you read what I said in response?

I understand where you're coming from, but you can't say that a person is a Christian and that they can go crazy sinning and willingly do things that God doesn't want them to do. You have to, at the very least, try to not sin. I'm not saying everyone is perfect and will not sin, but to do so willingly is not good. We all have struggles, yes, but you can't just go do whatever you want thinking God will forgive you because that's not really showing love to God.

If a person loves God, they will be obedient to him and try their darnedest to not sin or fall into temptation. That will not always happen, but at least they are trying.
What you said makes sense and I definitely agree with you. Willingly sinning isn't the right thing to do. Period. But even if someone willingly sins and still believes in God I still don't think He'd send them to Hell.

What religion are you refering to? Certainly not Christianity, because the Christian Bible (Not. Um. Your feelings.) says that homosexuals will NOT enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

I am always intrigued on how well meaning people who proclaim to serve the God fo the Bible, directly contradict His unchanging Word.
Doesn't it say in the Bible not to get tattoos or cut your hair/beard??? There's plenty of stuff in there that I don't understand. Granted, I'm still young and i'll admit I have much to learn about it.

But what I do know is:
Every sin is the same to God, and everyone sins. Homosexuality is the same as lying, lying is the same as murder, stealing is the same as murder, etc.

God doesn't view one sin as any worse than another, and since everyone sins everyday, everyone else wouldn't inherit the Kingdom of God either.

Everyone, even homosexuals, are covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

And I just don't believe that our loving and compassionate God would send us to Hell for sinning. Nope. He loves us.

Lol and debating isn't fun... :/

The Bible also says that after a man or woman gets a divorce and marries someone else, they're committing adultery. Confusing stuff... Because I know PLENTY of very spiritual people who have gotten divorces and remarried.

Only God knows what's going to happen though, so yeah i'll leave it to Him. :)

I think the type of answers that you will receive will explain to you how a gay person feels, probably better than a gay person could even say it himself. Most of what you're going to hear, you probably already know. Guard your heart, be forgiving.
You know? I certainly stand solidly against the belief that God has somehow changed and that homosexuality is now ok. At the same time, my heart honestly goes out to homosexuals. It would be very easy for me to say, "hey, you go ahead and live your life as you want. Not my business." But when they ask me, I am duty bound to tell them what I believe, because God instructed me to do that.

Ezekiel 3:18 If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked person shall die for his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand.

Now let me make this clear. We're all wicked if not for the blood of Christ. We all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. But we don't call a sin anything but a sin, because sin destroys. To deny that does not change the facts. To tell a homosexual that he is not sinning is a lie. In my opinion, it's like telling a smoker smoking will not destroy his lungs. It's like telling a child to go ahead and play in that raging river. That smoker will eventually die from smoking and so will that child drown in that river. And who will be responsible? If they went ahead and did those things on my say so, I'm responsible.
