thats your opinion, and you have every right to have it. :) just be aware that not all women are the same and that some night very well be attracted to the "loveable teddy bear" look, as you put it. TinTin, this is not a come-on in any way, but I personally don't think you need to change a thing. You have a honest, kind, and yes, handsome appearance. That is my opinion and my point is that I'm confident that someday you may meet a lady who finds you handsome just the way you are :D
Thank you for being civil, I appreciate it lol. The only reason I said anything is because he made it seem as if he is constantly being overlooked specifically because of his "loveable teddy bear" image. I don't think he would have brought it up if it wasn't causing some sort of issue, which is why I commented.

To iTOREtheSKY:

Please don't comment on anything I say anymore. I'm not quite sure why you are getting so up in arms about some of the comments that I've made, but you're being overly dramatic, throwing things out of proportion, and continuing to twist my words and the intentions behind them into something that they are not. Obviously there is a disconnect between what I've said and how you interpret it, and for you to call me insane is not only incredibly offensive and immature ( especially for someone old enough to be my father), but also completely off base, and I'm not going to let you turn every thread into a dispute with me. I refuse to let you make my words, and my intentions, into something that they are not.

So...who is stalking whom now??? I have just received a PM entitled "Why Are You Being So Mean" from the above poster. I have not read it nor will I, as anything you have to say to me (which I already thought you'd had) you can post openly in a thread. You seem like a trouble maker & attention seeker of the highest order. You are the one making your own words & intentions into something...no one has done that for you but yourself. No one ever meant to be mean to you by simply not agreeing with things you have said in your posts. Since you have been here in CC all I have seen from you is presumption, hostility, and insults thrown at a few members here who have much more seniority & wisdom than you seem to be exhibiting. You are more than welcome to be a part of our family, but if all you are going to do is keep bringing the strife, then I will report you. So just chill & let's talk about how good God is or something....k?

If U prefer to be a virgin, trust in His abundant eternal grace and continue to be so since in His kingdom, U will be rewarded above others !
Even if u desire a marriage, it's Biblical to be a virgin until then since fornication is sin even if the majority do !

Hmm... I never said anything about looking like a teddy bear but that I was only seen as the good friend (as in my personality or something, not my looks). I need my glasses to see properly, my haircut is clean and presentable and my beard is there to stop me looking 10 years younger. I honestly look no older than 19 when I'm clean-shaven and I don't know about you, but as a guy it's highly frustrating when you're mistaken as being significantly younger than you are. Also, I've never tried to be anyone other than myself and I don't see why, at 29, I should try to claim the 'cool' image to interest a girl. Finally, iTore isn't defending me because I can't defend myself, but putting in a good word for me as friends do. You're reading things into iTore's posts that just aren't there and then getting offended at something of your own design. At first I found your post rude but now it's just hilarious. Thanks for the laugh!

No fear, PleaseDon'tBeAHypocrite, I won't be dating/courting you anytime soon! :)

This is going to sound shallow, but I honestly think that if you ditch the glasses, shave the beard, and get a better haircut you will have more success! Thankfully those are all things you can change but I think it will help you shave the "loveable teddy bear" image. Try a look that's a little more edgy, it can make a huge difference. I really don't like beards, I think they make guys look like a chia pet lol I'm just being honest... and most of my friends don't like them either. It adds like 10 years

I ain't no Victoria's Secret model, but I happen to think TinTin is quite a looker just the way he is, thanks.

Some people have to wear glasses--myself included. I used to wear contacs but now have very bad reactions to them and can no longer wear them. (My avatar is a few years old when I could still wear contacs.)

Everyone finds different things attractive. What I might find not so attractive in my mind could look absolutely adorable on an actual person once I meet him. And vice versa. A lot of ravishingly attractive people have downright ugly personalities and grotesque hearts.

Now, f you add to the fact that not only is TinTin adorable, he is also kind, intelligent, and is a person of noble character and heart, I happen to find him to be quite the stud. AS IS, glasses and everything else included. *shrug* Just another person's opinions.

(Sorry if I embarrassed you at all, TinTin--I didn't mean to. I just like you the way you are, is all... no "improvements" necessary.)

Thanks, mate. I'm not embarrassed, just encouraged. If you'd said that to me in person though, I'd probably turn as red as Bob the tomato from Veggie Tales. You're a beautiful Seoul! Thanks, sis!

BTW...not for nothin' but people who wear glasses to me always look nice. I have always thought this even as a small child...it always made people look important or elegant to me. I never once viewed it as looking nerdy or uncool as hollywood always seems to portray those who wear glasses. As a kid I would take my Mom's reading glasses, which she rarely wore & I'd put them on & she'd yell at me to take them off 'cause it would ruin my eyes...lol So,ummm Seoul...when are we gonna get to see a pic of yer' adorable self with some specs on???

Personally, I respect girls like that. There are very few girls who want to do that. I know I have not been perfect especially when I fell away from Christ for quite awhile, HOWEVER I do not thing it is a curse for girls I think it is that guys think that they can get what they want when they want it and that is not true. And where you said the relationships have not lasted long that is because all those guys that you dated are not the one for you.

The funny thing is that makes you very "cool" in my eyes (and probably in the eyes of plenty of other women!) :D Go TinTin!

Peace be with you, sorry to say it is just your mentality, selfish feelings and desires. Is this something you want to advertise to look for a relationship. It is great and respectful that one have kept their virginity for until marriage, when many women fail to, and may GOD bless you for that.
Thus says the LORD who loves you who are virgin and others who are not; 'Seek ye first the Kingdom of GOD and HIS righteousness and all these thing that a Gentile woman worry shall be added onto you.'
Let us also first keep our virginity in the teaching of CHRIST in the New Covenant because HE is the bridegroom and we are the bride, in other words we are married spiritually.
From now on, i speak as an unworthy servant of CHRIST; 'Please seek the LORD for all things in secret and you will be rewarded. Please do not blow a horn to get attention, because you might get the wrong person attending to you. Then further more when something bad happens, do not blame GOD for our ignorance in knowing the truth.
For the Word(JESUS) of GOD says to Christians; 'You reap what you sew and you harvest what you plant.'
May GOD the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST bless and excel you in spirit and truth and also protect you from evil.

I don't know if it's just me, but from my experience every time I tell a guy that I am virgin and that I am waiting till marriage. They either run away or say they "respect that" but when we are alone they try to get me to give it up. Or if I do date it never last because they eventually expect sex.
So I started to think is being a virgin the cause for my singleness? Do you guys feel the same way sometimes?

....or then again the cause for singleness could be that I am crazy. ...crazy for Jesus that is..HAHA
Gia, I advise you, to advise those guys, to buy a nice pair of running shoes and START RUNNING!!

On a more serious note, well I've been where you are right now. Why doesn't a guy look at me? Why doesn't any guy ask me out? Is it because I'm a virgin? Is it because I've never been with anyone? Ahh it was an endless loop of questions. This was when I was back in high school. Now that I've matured a little more, physically and spiritually, I've realized that there was/is NOTHING WRONG with me. God is preparing me for the right man and I'm gonna wait for him in every way.

Now coming to the point of being single. Let me tell you something, I've decided to let my parents find a man for me. Like it's sort of an arranged marriage but with my say in it. Girl, I've been shuffling through pictures and credentials of guys since Summer 2011 and still haven't come across the one that God wants me to be with. So DO NOT worry about being single and rush in finding a man, just because.

When He wants us to wait, He surely equips us for it.

Blessings :)

Firstly, that's just rude. Secondly, it's just as well that I'm not good with needlework. I think you meant 'sow', not 'sew'.

I was going to respond in my own words but I think these words of Seoul's say everything I wanted
to say. She even got the ain't in there!!! Way to go!!

I won't leave you a line about how I hope you don't think this is a come on or anything because it is
completely a come on. I look younger than 35 I swear!!!:p:)

Oh, I forgot I can wear glasses or contacts. I am not sure if one or the other changes my age. I am
NOT shaving my beard for you, either!!! Nor am I trimming my hair. The not brushed, fly-away look
is all the rage this season.

Don't forget to call me!:)
