1. CC is kinda like fellowship at a big congregation; few know each other, but we're all familiar strangers.
2. Suggestions forum is akin to the suggestions box at the work place; nobody takes it seriously.
3. Ugly is a good guy, so don't let him rub you the wrong way. I hear heavy metal and baby bunnies pacify him above all else!
