I'm impressed that some guys have managed to wade through Pride and Prejudice. I found the very writing style to be frustrating (and not just because I'm dyslexic). Also, I'm not a fan of books focused on romance and social mores. I'm not helping my case as the CC Everyman, am I? :)

Hmm...interesting. It would seem, perhaps, that someone might have ground for creating a book review thread.

I'm not sure of its participation, nor content, but nonetheless...it would appear we have some readers with personal insights and verbalization about them.

As for me, I hear you Tintin. Many of the required reading throughout my school life were for lack of a better phrase...slightly painful.

Book reviews? Oy vey! You have only to visit my Facebook page to see people writing comments beneath my reviews like, "Christian, why do you over-analyse books and movies?" It's just a passion of mine. Now I'm all excited.

Well, it's up, and I used Pride & Prejudice as our starting topic as not to further derail this thread. Bon appetit!

Or maybe you're just more rugged and manly... which would certainly help your image I imagine! :)

I concur! Yes GRA it's spelled right!
Man...!?! Try to help somebody out just once (post #152), and all of the sudden I am the spelling / grammar police... :p

Are you sure you didn't mean:

I concur! Yes GRA it's spelled correctly!

How about:

Or maybe even:

I unequivocally whole-heartedly agree!

Wait a minute...

I don't want this job --- there is just way too much work to do around here...

And, there is just way too much pressure! :o What if I make a spelling / grammar error!! Why, I'll never hear the end of it!!!

No thanks...

( I hope everyone knows this is all a joke and does not take any of it seriously. )

:)

I honestly just made my Match Thing to stir things up. I wasn't genuinely trying to do anything. I figured it would, in good fun, add spice.

To be Honest though ;)

To be TOTALLY honest and make things all awkward, it was a bit strange for YOU to include me in the pairings list. :P hahaha okay, I'll exit this thread now.

So humble you are. But, seriously, you would make quite the awesome Mr. Darcy and you could totally live up to it. :)
Nods happy!

I was so confused by all this Darcy talk, since i was only skimming posts. I kept thinking 'why would these chicks be talking about that show 'Married With Children'?'. Now that i've gone back and read more closely (ok, just one post), i get it! ha!

For those of you who haven't seen the show, or don't remember, the 2nd husband that lived next door had the last name Darcy. And he was supposed to be some chick magnet pretty boy.
