It so figures that Texas would even have its own diamond.

(MusicalMe, I so wish you were here to read this.) MM isn't on this site anymore, but she's a friend I met here and went to see her (and Texas) for the first time. I was amazed by all the Texas-shaped cookie cutters, cheese, crackers, and muffin pans... Is there not anything in this entire world that hasn't been Texan-ized??? (I did love the food there!!)

Now back to your regularly scheduled program of matchmaking, gift-giving, and an occasional (Seat)Belt-ing or two.

Pretends, as a Texan, that she did not see this :)

So, the singles forums now has a matchmaking thread... I thought this was not supposed to be a dating site. :p You all lie! Lie I say... lol.

Since I've missed 13 pages worth of stuff, have there been any successful matches yet? lol

I don't know how I missed this. I'll have to read through the rest, but I think the zaoman tin tin match works! What do you think tinners?

I am pretty sure Zao and I would drive each other up the walls. Personality-wise we're pretty much the opposite. It would make for an interesting sitcom though lol

Oohh, no, I'm not getting involved in making any matches. I don't wanna end up on any ignore lists....

*back under rock AGAIN, only this time with a bag of Cheetos*

Oh, it was YOU who left the orange fingerprints all over the rock... I was wondering.

Aw, nuts. It seemed like such a winning combination.

I'll leave the match-making to the um...experts...

Back to the cave! Scoot over, SeatBelt!

y'know....this'd go great in the conspiracy thread, too. I'ma put it in there too XD

I totally got distracted when I saw that there would be cookies.

Of course, now it just depends on what kind of cookies... (Maybe this is why I'm single. Oatmeal raisin and chocolate chips... tend to distract me... "Nice Christian guy... Cookie. OOOHHHH.... COOOKKIEEE!!"

What kind of cookie? She already said. Cheese, bacon, and coffee cookies.

We'll make room for you, Onetime, but you've gotta help out with the digging... just another 30 yards and we'll have made ourselves a backdoor into that old Missile Silo (THANK YOU CRAIGSLIST!) that we just traded a lifetime supply of Mike & Ike's for.

Dis here bunker be gettin serious, uhmhum. Pass the jerky!

So what we really need to do here is build a "Til Death Do Us Part" Man Trap.

I'm guessing we'll have to use bait such as sporting event tickets, access to multi-media video games, gourmet junk food, and (this one's for NukePooch), tools. Lots of shiny, manly, complicated-looking tools.

Once the trap snaps, it's a done deal!! You're now in it for life, and it's inescapable.

*Gets all emotional at the thought. Possibly sheds a tear.*

I think I'm gonna call that baby, "Alcatraz." (The Man Trap, not The Man.)

Danger, Will Robinson...Danger!

Wait, what kind of tools?

Oh! As in Oh I think that was isn't a possibility.

And what is this with matching me first with someone who runs in the other direction and secondly with someone who is still married?

I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking straight. I blame it all on the French Burnt Peanuts I ate Monday Night. Yeah, I know, I shouldn't have, but I gobbled them down like it was the end of the world. And now, well, wishing I didn't. Why can't someone make French Burnt Almonds.

btw, the pork ribs are ready. Here's a pic of what I call a plateful. I also did about a bucketful of baked potatoes to go with... that's a standard unit of measure for manfood: bucketful.
