That awkward moment when you wake up and then get on the computer and then mosey on over to the forums. You then reply to a thread and point out something that has already been pointed out.

That awkward moment when you're out shopping for new underwear, and the ONLY free line at the registers is being worked by a guy you used to go to high school with who recognises you and decides to make small talk by giving you his opinion on your purchase choice.
Or, that awkward moment when you're in the supermarket health & beauty aisle happily looking at shampoo varieties (minding your own business) when a complete stranger of the opposite sex bounds up to you holding two boxes of condoms and shoves them in your face saying 'You're a girl- which one would you prefer'?

lol... it might be a good thing. I mean, both of those incidences are pretty bad... especially the second... wow.
I know right? At first I was like is this guy high or something? Maybe if I just ignore him he'll go away.. um nope! He just kept standing there with this quizzical look on his face. I'm like uh? (I mean really how does one even respond to that? I had no idea what to say) and then he starts asking more about which one is better. It was VERY awkward. Really all I wanted was some nice smelling shampoo. Is that too much to ask?

That awkward moment, (nowhere as bad as Iraasuup's second one) where you walk in to work for a lesson with no shoes on, because your cat left you a present, and you didn't discover it until you had already left for work. Yep, this morning I had to walk in with my only my socks on my feet. No shoes. Thinking about making some cat kabobs. Anyone interested?

Awkward moment when... A customer says to me this morning that they'd like coffee with
twelve sugars in it and asks if I could use my finger to stir it. Then I reply that isn't it too
early to have so much sweetness. Needless to say thankfully the only reply I could actually
hear was when he commented that it is never too early.

That happened to me once, when I waitressed. An older man asked if I could stick my my finger in his tea to make it sweet. I just awkwardly laughed and said "Haha, ...no?...." I'm really, really bad at knowing how to respond to weird/forward stuff like that. Even if they're just joking.

Ooh...I hate those situations, cuz I have that problem too. I usually go into panic-mode trying to figure out how to respond appropriately, and just end up taking the weirdness in a whole different direction; like, they say something awkward like that, and my eyes start darting around and I blush and say something like, "That's just not how it's done on my home planet".
I kinda think maybe I've got people convinced that I'm..."special", now that I think about it.
I've gotta give you that one TinTin. I've had other male friends complain of this very same thing, and I never honestly noticed it until one of them pointed it out to me. Awkward indeed.
