You do realize that the Capital building itself was utilized for Church congregation meetings right? By more or less Godly government officials.

How about nowadays? Not so much. Anyways.....your country is falling apart, inexorably facing it's inevitable prophesied judgement along with the other nations. And Israel as well BTW.

Y'all ought to crank open that Bible of yours and actually acquaint yourself with prophecy......rather than avoid it like it was the plague.

"In its early days, the Capitol building was actually used for religious services in addition to governmental functions, with Sunday church services regularly held until after the Civil War. According to the Library of Congress exhibit "Religion and the Founding of the American Republic" "It is no exaggeration to say that on Sundays in Washington during the administrations of Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809) and of James Madison (1809-1817) the state became a church. Within a year of his inauguration, Jefferson began attending church services in the House of Representatives. Madison followed Jefferson's example, although unlike Jefferson, who rode on horseback to church in the Capitol, Madison came in a coach and four. Worship services in the House were acceptable to Jefferson because they were nondiscriminatory and voluntary. Preachers of every Protestant denomination appeared. (Catholic priests began officiating in 1826.)""
Good thing Hezekiah didn't believe as you. He would have lost 15 years. Prophecy may be inevitable, but it's timing is not.

Post 97 just enumerated our present condition. It doesn't suggest my optimism or lack thereof. Unlike most, I don't think we are anywhere close to the end.
Bro.....we are in the last seconds of the last hour IMO.
Israel is in the land, the captivity of the nation is now over. A big BIG deal. The biggest at this present moment.

I understand what you believe. You've made it perfectly clear.

I never said it wasn't. What I was implying is that it doesn't have to be this way. God can change it anytime He chooses. One way that might lead to Him changing it is prayer.
God already told us what is coming. You can't pray, vote, or stomp your feet out from under what He has prophesied.

Fair enough. But ya still can't change it
I never claimed such. Prophecy is sure; it's timing not so much.
To date, every prediction...wrong.

Do you see any presidents, senators, statesmen and government officials repenting in sackcloth and ashes?
Neither do I......:cautious:

By straightforward observation, your comparative analysis is therefore null and void.

It's the people of God who need to repent; not heathens. 2 Chronicles 7:14 addresses God's own people.

On the contrary, Jesus Himself fulfilled Daniels 69th week to the very day when he presented Himself as King in Jerusalem on the 10th Nisan.

173,880 days to the very day.

That, my friend, is why your utter failure in comprehending prophecy does you no service. Or anyone else.

Heathens like the Ninevites?

BTW it was Hezekiah himself doing the praying.....the king.

2 Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying, 3 “Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Oh the Bible is always correct. It's people that get it wrong.

As usual, you gloss over the scripture I share and deliberately misconstrue my meaning. Have a blessed day.

Well.....that was not very constructive. Nor edifying. Sad really.

And the point of this is ... that 2 miles worth of people can't see this guy for who he really is?

I'm surprised it was only 2 miles
Don't get me wrong.....I am no fanboy of Trump. Or any other politician. All of them are seeking their own ends. None of them can be ultimately trusted.
